AbsolutHunni Honey Flavoured Swedish Vodka, 70cl

Good quality vodka. I do not fancy drinking vodka neat, but I have tried this one. It is strange to get honey aftertaste after swallowing it. But at the same time I enjoyed it. I have used the majority of the bottle in cocktails. I am satisfied with the quality and taste of this vodka. But you will have to try it yourself to figure out if this flavour is something you will like.

Flavoured vodka isn’t something I usually go for as they are often fruit flavoured and that really isn’t my thing so I was very interested to try one that is honey flavoured which is much more along the flavour lines I do prefer.The harsh alcohol taste of vodka is of course there but it is off set by the sweetness of the honey flavour. This is definitely more a honey ‘flavouring’ like you get in honey flavoured sweets rather than the taste of real honey but it is pleasant, sweet and fragrant.I found it works nicely in longer drinks with just sparkling water as well as with lemonade and also tonic which gives an interesting flavour profile. It will no doubt work well in cocktails too but I have yet to venture there.Very nice and something a bit different, definitely adding it to the drinks cabinet.

Myself and two family members taste tested this when it arrived, but none of us liked it, either neat or mixed. Honey is a weird choice for a flavouring but I'm sure it really works for some people.All the personal taste stuff aside, obviously it's perfectly good vodka I from a reputable brand. There's no quality issues, I'd just rather drink neat normal vodka.Unless you know you like the taste of this stuff, I wouldn't make your first try a bottle to be honest. Maybe find somewhere to taste test it since it's really not like unflavoured vodka at all and I'm not even sure what you'd mix this with that would work as some form of cocktail. For context, I've drunk a lot of vodka so it's not like I've zero experience.

This vodka arrived well packaged and presented. It has lovely design bottle. I'm not huge fun of alcohol but when we host a party at home we like to serve some alcoholic drinks and this vodka is perfect to be mixed or drink it on it's own as it have pleasant honey taste. It would be also fantastic as a gift. Great quality and value for money. Highly recommended

I wasn't sure what to make with this honey flavoured vodka, so I had a look at other reviews and saw someone say they mad espresso martinis with it - I love an espresso martini (I make it with cold brewed coffee rather than espresso) and it works so well. A really nice subtle sweetness to the vodka

On the first sip, I really wasn't too sure if I really liked it, but it very quickly started to grow on me and now I'm absolutely in love with it! It's not an intense honey flavour, it's subtle but definitely still noticeable though, which is probably for the best imo.I mixed it with lemonade like the listing suggested, and that works fantastic imo, it's refreshing and sweet without being too sickly. I've not tried it in any cocktails yet but I can imagine coming up with a few really nice mixes which this would fit perfectly into!

This is a fantastic vodka! I used to drink vanilla vodka a lot, so I decided to give this a try because honey vodka sounded interesting. I am sooo happy I got this. I can’t drink hard liquor straight; I always put it in a cocktail. But this one has a nice taste to it; I can actually sip it (if I wanted to). It has a nice subtle sweetness to it with floral afternotes that leaves a gorgeous aftertaste in the mouth.This vodka makes an amazing lemon drop cocktail; it is dangerously moreish. My husband is a hard liquor drinker, and even he said this is a fantastic vodka. It has a beautifully smooth flavor that not only blends flawlessly into mixers, but can easily be sipped straight as well.I am very happy with the quality and taste of this vodka, I would (and will) but it again. I've always been a fan of Absolut Vodka but I'd never tried the 'Hunni' version before and it's an interesting one. Strange to get the aroma and flavour of honey without getting the sweetness and this isn't just a vodka with a sugary syrup added. Instead it's a proper full strength vodka infused with a powerful essence of honey and that essence is really more aroma than flavour, although that might be because your palate expect the sweetness of honey but doesn't really get it.It's obvious to say but you'll really have to enjoy honey to enjoy this vodka, the honey essence is really quite powerful and isn't just a subtle hint. It would be an interesting one to use in a cocktail because you'll get the full flavours of both vodka and honey. To be honest the honey flavour can seem a bit artificial but it's interesting and when you add a mixer that restores the sweetness you'd expect it makes a very unusual and intriguing tipple.
