Great alternative to the official Apple Magic Keyboard.
This is a review of the 13” iPad Pro model, although I suspect the same is true for the others. This review is being typed on this keyboard…. Firstly, it serves its purpose well, allowing you to more efficiently type on the ipad, and even use a trackpad. But there’s a few drawbacks. PROS: * It gives you a normal laptop qwerty layout keyboard that you can use instead of trying to type using the iPad’s touchscreen. * Keyboard can be detached, leaving you with a ‘shielded case’ ipad. * IPad can be magnetically attached to the keyboard in several orientations, although NOT in the ‘flip-fully over’ to give you just a touchscreen. * Backlit keys, with color selection button. * extra row of keys above numbers for things like brightness, media, volume, etc. * keys are nice and clicky. Keyboard base is firm enough to be used on a mattress/couch/lap. * touchpad that understands gestures. * it’s around a 1/3 the price of the official apple Magic Keyboard. * closing clasp can hold an Apple Pencil or equivalent. CONS: * VERY BIG/HEAVY. It turns the newest lightest iPad Pro 13” into something that feels heavier and thicker than a macbook 14”. Even if you detach the keyboard, the remaining case protector still adds some thickness to the ipad. * does not share battery/ usb-c connector the way apple keyboard does. You will need to occasionally charge this keyboard. * Since it connects via Bluetooth, it can disconnect when idle, and takes a bit to reconnect. * did I mention how much heavier and thicker the ipad feels with this? Overall: If you need a keyboard for occasional use with your ipad, but feel hesitant dropping over $300 on the apple one, you will likely be very happy picking this ESR alternative. The only people I would *not* recommend it for are those who picked up the ipad for its lightweight/thin profile.

Best Keyboard Case Dupe - A Must-Have!
This keyboard case exceeded my expectations! It syncs seamlessly with my iPad, and the keys are incredibly well-designed—typing feels natural and smooth. I haven’t had to charge it yet, which speaks volumes about its battery life. The touchpad is surprisingly responsive—better than my work laptop! The magnetic strength of the case is impressive and holds my 13-inch iPad securely in place. It feels sturdy and reliable. One thing to note: it’s on the heavier side. That might be a downside for some, but I personally love it. The weight adds a sense of protection and keeps the iPad from toppling over when I use it on my lap. If you're looking for a high-quality dupe, this is it. Highly recommend!

Great keyboard case option for the price
I purchased the ESR iPad Pro keyboard for my 13-inch iPad Pro M4. I will primarily use the keyboard in my home office and on occasional business trips. My wife and I have previously purchased other ESR products, and the case's quality and design are consistently high, delivering fantastic value. This keyboard provides the same basic functions as comparable keyboards at a fraction of the cost. It contains a protective case that you can remove from the keyboard to protect it from minor scratches and drops, which is a useful feature. When connected to the keyboard, the iPad can be oriented in either landscape or portrait orientation. The magnets are extremely strong, allowing you to elevate the iPad slightly if needed, giving you more viewing angle options. The keyboard has been snappy and works well with the iPad. The function rows and backlit keys are fantastic features that provide a reliable typing experience. The main drawback is that it is a little heavier than other keyboard case selections. However, for my needs, the lighter weight of other keyboard cases does not justify the extra expense. Perhaps if I traveled more, I might be willing to pay more for a lighter keypad. Overall, I definitely recommend this keyboard case to anyone searching for a reliable alternative to the more expensive keyboard cases on the market.

One size may not fit all needs.
A good idea depending on how you use your iPad. Wasn't for me. I needed it to have a dedicated Siri but on the keyboard which it did not have. I do a lot of dictation with Siri. Also just used it for a couple of hours and it was somewhat heavy and cumbersome. I could see if I was using it a little differently this would be a good product. It does have a solid construction. The keyboard has a good feel. It's much easier for my uses to use the keyboard on the screen and I need to have the Siri but so that I can dictate seamlessly. I would suggest that consider how you're using this before you decide to buy it. It may really fit your needs or may not. My $0.02.

Securely holds and protects iPad. Great Keyboard touch and feel.
This case is prefect for my iPad Pro 13 (M4). Just what I wanted. It is a bit heavy, but I have gotten use to it and like the weigh. I wanted an Apple Magic keyboard but no way I am paying $370 for one. Got this for a little over $100 and it works great. It is reliable. I like the way it times out when not being used to conserve battery. Battery seems to last a very long time. I have only had it go dead on me once and I only charge it once or twice a month. I like being able to rotate the iPad and reattach to the keyboard in a portrait vs landscape mode. I like that the iPad is magnetically attached and easy to pull off and use as a stand alone iPad. The magnet is plenty strong to hold the iPad and has never separated without my removing it. I tried a couple other brands sold on amazon. Those felt more cheaply made, they just did not make the cut. I like the keyboard touch and feel as well as the color and brightness adjustable back lit keys. I also like that it automatically comes on with a touch of the keys. There is a slight delay for the Bluetooth to connect, but then I am off and running. Only issue real issue I have is that rubberize coating is starting to separate just between the two hinges on the left side. I hope it holds together and will update if it worsens. So far everything else has been great. Have only had it for 5 months, since Mid-July 2025. I use it pretty much every day for at least a couple of hours. Some days I have been on it for 6-7 hours. Great purchase and I recommend this on if you want a keyboard attached to your iPad.

An affordable keyboard with all the bells and whistles as the high end keyboards
EDIT: I bought the Magic Keyboard. The ESR Rebound that I liked so much is now sitting in it’s box for back up and I just bought the Magic Keyboard. I regret nothing. TL:DR Basically I really like the ESR Rebound Keyboard case but I still opted to purchase the Magic Keyboard as my daily driver for my IPad Pro 13 M4. There was a lacking in the ESR Rebound in that I missed the Magic Keyboard. I kept finding myself researching the Magic Keyboard and looking at comparison videos even though I claimed to be happy with the ESR Rebound. I couldn’t get it out of my mind! So there you are, I gave in to the $299 on amazon and now I am typing on a keyboard that checks all my boxes, it’s asethetically and functionally JUST RIGHT. I bought this for my IPad Pro 13 M4, which is ginormous and quite thin. This is awesome but it causes my anxiety over the safety of the iPad to rise to a new level. I upgraded from my iPad Air 4th generation (~11”) with the white Magic Keyboard. I had my iPad Air for about 5 years and I was so used to it I would treat it very casually and throw it around, it was my go to so this big thin iPad is something to get used to. I loved the Magic Keyboard I had. I couldn’t justify spending the extra money on the Magic Keyboard even at $299 on Amazon this time around. My second go to would have been the Logitech keyboard however even on Amazon at $259 I might as well have shelled out the money for the Apple Magic Keyboard. After doing some research on compatible keyboards I found ESR made this Rebound Keyboard Case. I already am a big fan of this brand so it made it even easier to choose with the price tag on it being about $100 which is much more affordable than the previously mentioned keyboards that obviously have their quality behind them and their brands as well. It had all the things I could have asked for in the specs. A case for the random time I take my iPad off the keyboard and backlit keys. Not much to ask for however when I received the keyboard it had so much more! The function keys on the top row, the different colors for backlit keys, it’s sturdy and I feel my IPad is protected. The feeling of typing is unlike the magic keyboard in that it is clicky, somewhat like a mechanical keyboard but it is obviously not to that quality. I like how it sounds and feels while typing. I appreciate the different colors for the backlit keys however I would have been fine with just a white backlight because of what I’m used to. The trackpad to me feels like a good size, I am used to the 11” Magic Keyboard and it is about the same size, I have to get used to how loud the clicks are on the trackpad, quite different from a Magic Keyboard especially the new one with the haptic feedback. It doesn’t bother me so much as I just tap on the screen if I need to move or click on anything for the most part. The quality of the material this is made out of is easy smeared onto. If I have lotion or even semi oily hands from cuticle oil, something of that sort it definitely shows on the keys and arm rests. It’s not hard to clean but it’s just a little unsightly and I’m being overly careful with my new big toy so I am constantly cleaning. It might not be a big deal to many but I am a little neat freak. Many have commented or complained about the weight of the case and keyboard. I actually like it. My iPad has not tipped over as my old iPad Air 4th gen with the Magic Keyboard would constantly which I appreciate because it’s a big iPad and I want to keep it safe instead of having it fall off my lap or fall back on the bed because it’s top heavy. I am not one to travel around with my iPad, being a stay at home mom it does not go very far from my home unless we go on vacation and even then it depends on where we’re going. So I cannot account for traveling weight. I still feel IMO it’s not that heavy and if I were a student or if I used it to bring to work it would not be inconvenient to me. Of course in comparison to the Magic Keyboard and the Logitech keyboard they are much thinner and would be more travel friendly. The keyboard has its own battery which holds very well. I’ll be using the set up all day starting at 100% and it’ll go down to 90% by the end of the day. It does have a standby mode that it goes to automatically after a certain amount of time. You can charge the keyboard by charging the iPad but it does not work the other way around. It’s very easy to connect to the Bluetooth and I haven’t had any problems with connectivity. There is a slight lag to get it out of standby mode but it’s 2 seconds to wake the keyboard and it’s back and running, not something you’d see in the Magic Keyboard or Logitech but I can live with the 2 seconds to wake up the keyboard to keep $150-200 or more dollars. For the price this keyboard is with about the same features as the other keyboards and good quality I’m happy with it. I use my iPad everyday for productivity, organization, videos, research, recipes, messaging and browsing. I’m on here more than I am on my phone. This keyboard has been a great affordable addition to my new IPad Pro

Exactly what I wanted
This review is for the ESR keyboard case for the 2024 M4 iPad Pro 13. So, let’s start by saying this case is Exactly what I wanted for my new iPad Pro. The M4 iPad is so new, its really hard to find a good aftermarket case, but ESR seems to have read my mind and made one… a really good one albeit. There are a few nitpicks from me, but overall, this is a 5 star case. Why do want this particular case? Because I want the iPad to have a case on at all times. When it is in the keyboard case and when it’s out. ESR has made a keyboard case just for that. The iPad is essentially in a slim black case at all times, so when I remove it from the keyboard case to game or use as an iPad again, I don’t need to worry about it or have another case on standby. ESR accomplished this by making the slim case with a metal backing, so the magnets from the hinged side lock onto the slim case, not the iPad, which makes the magnetic power extremely strong. Once you snap the iPad on, it doesn’t move nor slide around. You can open, close, adjust the hinge angle without fearing your iPad will move around. Oh the slim case will also accommodate the pencil and it even has a strap that will protect the pencil when the case is closed. Overall, the case is very sturdy, well designed and built. The touchpad is excellent and the keyboard has a firm feedback which I like. Oh, the keyboard battery, yes, it has its own battery, so you don’t have to drain your iPad to use it. Yes it needs to charged, but it is also an USB-C and the battery last a long time, for weeks of use. And No it does not have a battery gauge, which at first I thought it might be worrisome, but guess what, the native battery widget on the iPad shows the keyboard battery percentage!!! This is AWESOME, see attached screen shot! Now, let me nitpick a bit… wow is it heavy. I understand with all the metal, magnets and battery, it will be heavy. I think it’s heavier than my old clunker IBM Thinkpad! But it’s something I am ok with and can live with, for all of its features. Oh, due to the weight, the keyboard does not tip over when you are using it on your lap on the couch or in bed. The weight of the battery anchors down so the iPad is not heavier than the keyboard, which is an Issue with the Apple MK, its so light that it tips over easily. The keyboard, BTW I am writing this review with it as we speak. Why does this keyboard DOES NOT HAVE A DELETE KEY??? Instead there is a screen lock key! why? It’s very frustrating that I am so used to using the delete key and every time I hit it, the screen goes blank! I will have to bring up the onscreen keyboard to use the delete key! Ugh!!! This is probably my biggest gripe with this keyboard! My recommendation to ESR would be to put the delete key back and give us one more color on the keyboard lighting, white. It has every color but white. The closest to white is cyan, which is just a lighter shade of blue! Give us pure white please! Other than that, this is an awesome keyboard case at less than 1/3 of Apple MK price! Plus its 360 protection of the iPad and onboard battery feature, it is definitely a 5 star product!

Fantastic. Compared to the logitech combo touch.
Four stars bc I am irritated with their choice of Bluetooth instead of smart connect. I just put this on my iPad pro m4 13. It replaced the logitech combo touch bc the logitech quality has dropped considerably since 2018. I would like the apple magic keyboard but I really need a case for the iPad itself as I am frequently popping it off the keyboard to do something and then going back to the keyboard. And yes I know they make cases for amkb but there is an edge exposed so... No. So magic keyboard is not going to work for me. The keys feel as good or better than logitech bc logitech feels and sounds like you are typing on thin cardboard. Logitech did not sit well on my lap. Esr is rock solid on my lap in my recliner and is a pleasant experience. Logitech sat on a table for a day with very little use and still got fingerprints and scratches. Unacceptable. The esr material feels better to me and yes it does collect fingerprints but not NEARLY like the logitech. Esr has a pencil flap and props to them bc WHY DON'T LOGITECH AND APPLE PUT A PENCIL FLAP. And there is room for you to have a skin on your pencil too. Esr is by far the cheapest. Now for the compromises. No smart connector on the esr. I'm bummed bc bluetooth is kind of meh and you have to charge it separately and it loses the integration that smart connection has. Logitech wins there. Esr is a chunky Boi. This thing is heavy. Like surprisingly heavy. But only just a little bit heavier than my 2018 iPad pro 11 with the previous version of the combo touch on it. So I can live with it. Logitech wins on the desktop surface but only by a very small margin. When you type on the logitech your hands aren't resting on anything bc this sucker is thin like paper. Esr has a little bump bc he's a thick boy. But it's a very very small thing. I feel like this is what the combo touch SHOULD be. And if esr would have used the smart connector and ditched the separate battery this would be absolutely perfect. I'd pay extra for it too. If you are using your iPad 50/50 as a keyboard and tablet then this is for you. The combo touch falls way below for lap use and has a pretty long form factor for desk use too. Esr eliminates those problems. Logitech is thin and light. And I think they just went too thin with it. Esr is thick and heavy. If these two could somehow combine their powers that would be great lol. But for now esr is the one.

Bien. Recomendado.
