Review: Surprisingly nice quality for the low price - I’m a full-time leathersmith and decided to give these tools a shot for nipping corners on then leather goods like wallets and journal covers. Being a low-cost tool, I wasn’t sure what sort of quality to expect. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with what I received, especially considering the cost. First thing first; do not be under the illusion that these are high-end leathercrafting tools. The construction appears to be consistent with other low-cost imported tools of this nature. That said, I do expect them to give me plenty of reliable service for light-duty use on relatively thin leather. Just as important, the tools were properly and consistently machined and they actually came with a reasonably sharp edge. If you use them as intended with a protective surface under your workpiece, I expect they will hold up well. Even if I do need to replace them every year or two, the cost is minimal. Handles on these are fairly short and narrow. Not a big deal for me, but may be a deal-breaker for others.

These set is good but it is not shinning because the small irons, most used, are fine and are cutting the leather as expected. The large size irons in set are not cutting well and need some serious sharpening.
