HS900 Drone with Camera for Adults, 3-Axis Gimbal, 8K Photo, 4K/30FPS Video, 20000Ft Transmission, AI Follow Me, Smart Return, QuickShots, Beginner-Friendly

This is my first drone. I was scared to fly it at first because I suppose it’s so small and fragile looking but honestly its easy to use with customized control settings, altitude is controllable for a setting and other awesome software options. I put a 400 GB card in it and actually crashed it into a tree flying too low on accident and it was perfectly ok. I had 2 crashes. Makes sure to put the battery in until you hear it snap in. I failed that and luckily at about 5 feet alititude doing my preflight inspection it lost power and dropped on cement. Still perfect and no damage to it. With the tree crash I had to replace two propellers, which this purchase came with extras just for this purpose. It was easy to replace them with the included tool. As a first drone, flight control is great, and controls are easy to understand right away just after a few minutes of preflight inspection procedures. 4k camera is awesome, the gimble calibration is great and you have options for video and picture quality’s in a wide range. Drone is fast and also has a stable mode for beginners and making dramatic media clips. Drone is small and I doubt anyone can spot it at a glance during flight. Remember to get your safety certificate and understand all the applicable laws in your area before flying. I will definitely give this a five star. Battery life is about 30 minutes depending on how you fly. I don’t mind that at all, and I also purchased two extra batteries and a speed charger for longer flights. Batteries are durable and mine withstood a fall from about 5 feet. Make sure to inspect your craft if that happens before flying. Overall five stars for first time drone pilot and I will purchasing more of these in the future! Product comes with a small carrying case and can be used with an IPhone or Android device. I love how small it is and I love how easy it is to set up and put away!

Amazing drone. I have had a few drones before but this is the BEST "economical" one I've purchased to date. Pros: Very fun and easy to fly, controls work great, good build quality - feels solid, it's nice they use a cable to link to your phone now - easier and reliable, SD recorded picture/video quality is excellent in 4K, gimbal works very well holding shots steady, it's crazy small when packed in the included case (case included is awesome), convenient being under 250g - less legal stuff to worry about, their app has improved a lot over the years, decent battery runtime for the size, moves pretty quick in sport mode, nice you can also take photos while recording video, return to home works great - but won't avoid obstacles, set your RTH height setting for the surrounding area. Cons: Additional batteries are expensive, batteries seem to discharge themselves a LiPo "storage level" when not used for a while - not sure if this is good or bad, it may allow the batteries to last longer stored but you always need to top off your battery before a flight, at high speeds recordings can be a little jittery - if going for the best video quality need to slow down. This is an amazing value for a drone, especially if you can pick it up on an amazon sale/prime day. The size makes it easy to take anywhere, just throw it in a backpack and go.

I really wanted to like this drone. It flies nice, good videos, seemed like it would be fine. I flew it less than a day (3 flights) before it started wobbling in flight. The videos with the gimbals were fine, though. I recalibrated gimbal, gyro and compass. The next flight was the same. Recalibrated everything after removing and replacing the battery. Started the major wobbling, so I headed back to the landing spot. Checked the video and and the video was shaking so bad I couldn't watch it. I was still 1 day to be still in the return window, so I returned it. I really wish it would have been better.

great drone , it’s the same drone as the snaptain p40lite the exact only thing is the sirius app is better than the snaptain go app.. only thing i notice is the shaking that’s the only con but its a great drone , the best holy stone drone so far lol the 600D is the champ so far

The Holy Stone HS900 is a really solid drone, especially for beginners or anyone who wants stable, high-quality video without spending a fortune. The 3-axis gimbal keeps the footage smooth, and the photos look sharp — definitely closer to high-end quality than I expected. The 4K/30FPS video is clear, and the AI follow-me works surprisingly well. The range is impressive, and the smart return feature gives you peace of mind. My only complaint is the battery life — it’s good, but not great, so having extra batteries is almost necessary. Overall, a dependable, user-friendly drone with excellent video quality for the price.

I am beyond impressed with the Holy Stone HS900. The first thing I noticed was how solid and well-built it feels right out of the box—definitely not a “toy” drone. The setup was quick, and within minutes I was flying smoothly. The GPS lock is spot-on, which makes flights stable and reliable even on breezy days. The camera quality is fantastic for this price range, with crisp video and sharp photos that really capture detail. The return-to-home feature works flawlessly, giving me peace of mind whenever the drone gets a little far out. Battery life is solid, and having multiple flight modes makes it perfect whether I want to practice simple maneuvers or get cinematic footage. What surprised me most was how user-friendly it is. Even as someone who isn’t a professional pilot, I felt confident flying it after just one session. This drone strikes the perfect balance between performance, features, and value. Highly recommend the HS900—Holy Stone really nailed it with this one!

This is a preliminary review in order to share what I feel is important information for anyone considering the Holy Stone HS900. The controller and the craft operate very well. The controller functions are easily manipulated and the craft is very stable. The menu is also easy to use and the features are fun to use as well. Now for the real information, the battery can only be charged when installed in the craft and this means one at a time, Holy Stone does offer a docking station charger that holds three batteries, however the docking station only charges one battery at a time. I purchased the docking station charger at the time I purchased the drone as well as two additional batteries. The beginning of my review was short as a result of the following, after the initial charge was done on the batteries the night before my done was taken for its maiden voyage, when I was ready for the first flight the batteries were no longer at full charge. Rather than charging the batteries back to full capacity I proceeded to fly the craft as long as the three batteries would allow which was approx. 35 minutes. I was a great experience even though short what features I was able to use worked well. The next part of the story is the most concerning, after placing the discharged batteries in the docking station for charge I performed some tasks around the house and returned to find the first battery fully charged so I removed the charged battery and left the other two in the docking station to charge. I left to run some errands and came back two hours later to check the status of the charging batteries. I have always been apprehensive when it comes to charging lithium batteries so I never charge them in my home and rather set them up in my work shop that is detached from the house and garage. When I opened the door to the shop I was overcome with smoke that billowed out of the door, no actual fire but electrical fire smoke that was thick and nasty. I found the middle docking port with a melted down battery and the battery to the outside of that one was not able to be removed due the melt down of the docking station around the battery. The power adapter and the wall socket as well as the cable were not hot and not damaged. Thankfully there was no fire or my losses would have been rather sizable considering the size of my work shop and what I have inside of it. I contacted Holy Stone and explained the circumstances and sent them pictures. They offered to replace the damaged charger and two batteries but I will be waiting for up to three weeks for the replacement items to arrive. I will follow up this review once I have another opportunity to fly the craft again and try ALL of the features and functions, in the meantime I offer this information for anyone considering this model for themselves.

Just got my new HS900 Drone - WOW! First impressions: sturdy, good documentation. New app has informative videos, console fits phone flat in front and includes cables to hook phone to console. Console speaks and provides information during flight. The phone does not get in the way of your fingures being in that location. I also have a 175D, this is easier to calibrate and flies right from the first liftoff. Took my HS900 for an initial spin this afternoon. A few observations: - having the ability to connect your phone to the controller by a wire is great. No fooling around with WiFi. Screen information easy to read. -11mph winds and 22 mile gusts and no wind movement. Flew at 300 ft. For almost two miles. The first video is attached - very pleased with quality for a novice photographer. -Response to commands were immediate to turn drone and increase speed. -Gimbal is stable and responsive. Even with the wind - picture is stable. -Return to home performed as promised. - 25 minutes of flight and still had time left! - Ordering a second battery as soon as they come available. This is an exceptional drone. I’ve only flown a 175D and the difference Is dramatic. First flight 10 out of 10. This is the best Holy Stone has released. Competes well with some of the big boys.
