These magnetic blocks are well made. They also have very powerful magnets in them. The magnets are loose balls so they'll always align and therefore you can assemble the blocks any way you want. The printing on the blocks is good quality and doesn't scratch. Overall great education toy.

We love magnetic toys, so I thought this one would be fun to add to our set. They work well with our other magnetic toys, so that is a definite plus. The blocks are cute and sturdy. They should be durable and hold up well to children building and crashing their creations. The magnets are strong and hold together well, but are still easy enough to pull apart. This set even comes with a booklet containing ideas on how to use them. It also comes with a little storage bag with drawstring closure. It is kind of a thick, plastic bag. I actually prefer the box for storage though, because they do fit back in there easily and don't take up much room on the shelf. I thought i ordered blocks containing letters and numbers, but that is not what I received. I don't see any other options on the product page either, so I think there was a mistake here. The blocks I received have letters and animal pictures. There are no numbers or math of any kind on my blocks. Each block contains a set of 3 consecutive letters and an animal picture that begins with those letters. I got two of each of these blocks. The "y" and "z" blocks contained an extra "o" as well, so you end up with for letter "o" blocks. The set up of these blocks does not allow you to put together a whole alphabet, which does bother the kids a bit. You can create some words when you attach the blocks together, but with just one set your options are limited. You can easily match a picture to its beginning letter. If you are getting these more for building and see the letters/numbers/pictures as an added bonus, as I did, then this isn't too big of an issue. These are fun to play with and they have a nice variety of colors. The letters and pictures are clear and easy to see.

My son is obsessed with building blocks and loves his magnetic tiles so when I seen these I thought they might be something that would interest him. I was definitely right as he wants to play with these as soon as he wakes up in the morning. The overall quality is really good and the magnets are strong but not so strong that my two year old son cannot separate the blocks on his own. These blocks are a good size so they can not be swallowed as this was one thing I was very concerned about. Most images on amazon do not depict the true size of some of the product and not everyone states specific dimensions so this was a relief knowing my son would not be able to swallow these if he did put them in his mouth.

Our 3 year old grandson loves these blocks. It is the first "go to" when he comes to visit. The various colors/shapes on all 6 sides of the blocks allows for learning in a fun way. The magnets are strong enough to stick together, but also easy for him to pull apart.
