Movo Wireless Mini Wireless Microphone for iPhone Podcast Equipment Bundle with WMX-HM Handle/Desktop Mic Stand - Wireless iPhone Mics for Podcasting, Interviews, and Content Creation (Lightning)

This Movo wireless mini microphone kit (USB-C version) is an excellent way to record great audio with your newer Android phone or iPhone 15. You can use the phones built in audio recorder to record just audio or use a camera/video app for great audio with your video. The kit comes with the 2 mics + receiver, 2 tripods with mic holders, 2 mic handles, and multiple wind muffs. For the price this is a decent buy.

There is nothing really special to this "podcast/interview" kit. They are essentially just generic lavs that lock onto tripods, giving you the option of lavalier wear, stationary desktop, or handheld stick mount. All wireless and rechargeable, so that is a plus. As far as sound quality, they are on par with others of similar design, but with a less economic price tag. I have noticed that the Movo brand does have similar audio pattern pickups, meaning they deploy similar technology to their mics (having also tested a dynamic usb Mic from Movo), and they all tend to hit slightly flat. Its a good starter set, but I am not sure the little accessories make up for the larger price ($120 at this time), compared to others of similar quality.

I own several Lavalier microphone sets where the microphone clips to your clothes. I prefer having a microphone stand, so I ordered this bundle. I wasn't sure if this set had two clip-on microphones and two also included in the stand, but this set only comes with two microphones and two separate microphone stands. The two Lavalier microphones slide into the microphone stands, so you have the option of not clipping the microphones onto your clothes and using them in the stands. So far, the sound is good, and I like using the stand when recording with my iPhone.

I do a lot of audio recording for work and sometimes I do interviews internally for my company. I have a lot of microphone sets/lavalier and this one is slightly different than the rest of them. The lavalier clips actually clip on to the sticks that are held in the tripod and you put the pop filter over it. I'm not a fan of everyone of the pop filters being branded so I flipped the black one inside out and it works just fine.The whole set is a bit expensive for what you get, it's basically a 2 microphone lavalier with tripod stands and if you're not worried about the tripods you can pick something's up that's just like it or better for 1/4 of the cost

The USB-C port on the receiver is too small to function in USB-C ports. It doesn't fit securely in place. It is very strange. This means that the entire set is useless to me because this is the component necessary to make the whole thing work. Another flaw is that the windscreens do not actually fit on the transmitters. They flop around when added. They give another foam piece to help secure it, but the wear and tear of rubbing foam over foam means a short life span.UPDATE: I contacted MOVO customer service about this issue. They have been giving me the runaround for a week. Every time I answer one of their questions, they send back a new one. The most recent one is "What's the specific brand/model of the laptop you're using?" Despite telling them that I've tried to use their product with two computers. I also sent them images and videos of the ports and their faulty product.Now I'm giving up, which is okay because I received the product free in exchange for an honest review. Most of you, however, will not receive the product free and thus will be out $120.

I gave this as a gift to a friend who is starting to be heavily involved in content creation and podcasting. She said these are really great microphones and are also very easy to install and use. The fact that you get 2 microphones with the equipment for one great price is awesome! She was able to install the app on her iPhone very easily and the app is very user friendly. It also comes with the microphone stands and adapters. All in all she said this is definitely 5 star worthy!

I wish they had included a lightning adaptor extension, the lighting receiver would not fit reach into the iPhone because I had a protective case on the phone. It did work very well on the iPad, I just had to go to Youtube to find additional help. They had so many papers in the boxes but not enough good instructions. Overall I can see how this can be a very useful and quality product. The sound was great and the installation was very easy, just plug-in and use. I rated this as 4 because it really needed some better instructions and tips, and an extension for the lightning plug. The website did not have any instructions for this product. Good product. Importantly, a sound test of the microphones was a resounding success. The sound quality of interviews, podcasts and video livestreams will be much, much improved using this excellent Wireless Microphone!
