Is Thunderbolt the same as USB4?

Both can drive dual 4K displays, transfers data at 40Gbps, and provide power to charge a laptop. But USB4 has lower minimum specs, and makers can choose not to implement all the features to minimize costs.

Why does my hard drive enclosure's performance differ from what's advertised?

Speed test results can vary based on factors like software, hardware, and operating environment. For optimal performance, use a USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 connection.

Why is my hard drive enclosure unreliable on Windows?

Windows system compatibility can vary due to platform differences and infrequent firmware updates. To improve reliability, use a Windows system with an Intel 12th generation or newer CPU, or an AMD Ryzen 12th generation or newer CPU.

How can I improve writing speed on Windows devices?

Because speed test performance can vary due to different software, environments, and hardware, it is recommended to use a USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 interface to get the best speed performance.

How can I prevent an increase in unsafe hard drive shutdowns?

The enclosure is connected to the PCIe interface of the device and cannot be directly removed like ordinary USB devices, please shut down your computer and remove the enclosure to avoid an increase in the number of unsafe hard disk shutdowns.
