Perfect Emergency Lighting
Bought these for my 'Power Off' kit having used these types of glow sticks many times during my military career. They are an excellent short term, non-toxic, no power required light source that gives you enough time to sort your life out and find your torches/lanterns if the power goes off. Waterproof and a great way to calm your children if they get scared - a light stick provides hours of fun! A couple of tips:1. Although the light lasts for 12hrs, it starts to dim after about 8, so be aware of that.2. Only the liquid is 'non-toxic'! If you cut open the tube (which the instructions say NOT to do, there is broken glass inside - don't do it!
