Nice capsule design. It clicks shut, to let you know when it's sealed. They do work for me to keep supplements protected from stomach acid, so that they can be active in the small intestine.

Excellent capsules! I know they work properly as I threw up a few weeks ago and the capsules were still intact, even after 4 hours (Damaged Vagus Nerve). Threw them in some baking soda water to replicate small intestine PH. Took 72 minutes for it to open up, while shaking now and then. Probably work a little faster in the intestine as the Small Intestine is only a couple centimeters round. These are really capsules. The do exactly what they should. I think more meds and supplements should use them, I want what I'm taking in my blood not binding with everything in my stomach.

I take generic Prilosec for heartburn, and it has an enteric coating bc he active ingredient would be destroyed by stomach acid (ironic). anyway, the cheaper ones, they sometimes have chipped enteric coatings, which renders them almost useless. I take those damaged ones, and I put them in these capsules, and they work.

Enteric coated capsules are used to release the contents after the stomach (usually in the upper tract of the intestine). Make sure what you're putting in these enteric coated capsules should not be digested by the stomach, but absorbed by the small intestines. One example of this would be if you're using anthelmintics or antihelminthics, which are anti parisitic herbs. I'm not sure why no one on Amazon is selling capsule filler machines in the US, but there are some on the Amazon UK site, but they don't ship to US. I've used The Capsule Machine for about 10 years, it's under $20 and fills 24 capsules and made in USA. I'm considering ordering a CAPSULE-IT Capsule Filler, it's $40 on sale but does 100 caps at once. It's drawbacks are you HAVE to fill 100 caps and it's not made in the USA. Anyway, back to these capsules. The $16 price for 500 is good, but the same capsules from the same seller are $22 for 1000, so I'd get the larger pack - and I have in another size! The capsules are easy to work with, come apart easily and stay together once pressed. None of mine were cracked or crushed. These enteric capsules arrive in a sealed and labeled bag. They are put together, so you need to take them apart to use. I do prefer the ones that are already apart as long as they're shipped in separate bags.

I used these capsules, the size is on the large size but it worked. I was able to fill, abd will order a smaller size in the future. I did not know the sizes to what I needed. Would appreciate other experiences

If you have trouble swallowing pills...and have GERD and need them to bypass the stomach...this is a wonderful product.

We put our probiotics in these enteric empty capsules. Helps them to desolve in the gut.
