Rolled Ice Cream Maker DIY Gelato Frozen Yogurt Pan Kit with 2 Spatulas

Ok, this is awesome, but it's not as easy as "pour the stuff in, and you're done". But it's also a really quick process. From start to finish it should take you less than 10 minutes. First thing to remember is: your ingredients need enough fat. If you just use nonfat yogurt, it's too much water and it will ice up. Use at least 3:2 ratio of heavy cream and yogurt/condensed milk/whatever. (Ask AI or Google) Second thing is: to make your life easier, mash the mix-ins ahead of time. Oreos? Cereal? Kit kat? Make sure it's destroyed before adding it. Lastly, it's an active process. Keep mixing and chopping and folding as it freezes. Then, when it's mostly solid, spread it out. My video here is the first time I tried, and it still came out okay. But I did it again and it was amazing! Totally worth the cost of admission. Works great! It's also really easy to clean. Since most of the stuff on it is frozen, just running some warm water over it melts the excess and gets rid of it. Then wipe it dry quickly.

I like it, it’s just that sometimes is doesn’t cool properly and making the ice cream is so slow… the rolls don’t even come out properly but still is a great alternative for a cheap budget!! I prefer to waste 200 bucks on the big machine rather than this but I like it!!

Arrived broken, purple plastic border is thin and fragile. Didn’t negatively impact its function at all so still happy with it but still just a bummer to have something come out of box damaged

It is very fun for kid to learn the thermal knowledge and heat transfer theory from this instant ice cream maker, my son experimented on the mixture of different volume of milk, water, yoghurt and sugar, finally, he figured out the optimized recipe.

It does what it says it does... once. I tried this tonight using my own recipe with half whole milk and half heavy cream, ovaltine, peanut butter powder and chocolate chips. It did freeze and I probable poured it on a little too thick be cause the top wouldn't freeze. But I was able to get a nice big slab frozen in less than 10 minutes. It did come out a bit icy, but that could very well be my own mistake by using too much milk to cream. I will experiment more. I prepared 2 cups of mix and was really only able to freeze about 1 cup successfully. By the 2nd round, the plate wasn't as effective at freezing, but I was still able to get most of it frozen. The 3rd part ended up being frozen by 8th grade science class methods. Is it fun to see the ice cream freeze right before your eyes, yes! Most definitely and it's a great activity to do with the kids for a nice little evening treat. Just don't expect to get a whole tub of ice cream out of it. If you want to go more, I'd suggest buying more than 1 tray.

La superficie se enfría bastante bien y permite trabajar la mezcla para formar los rollitos de helado. Además, viene con las espátulas, lo cual es súper práctico. El tamaño es bueno para preparar porciones individuales y se limpia fácilmente después de usarla. Me parece una excelente opción para hacer helados caseros y pasar un rato divertido con la familia. Por el precio, considero que vale mucho la pena. ¡La recomiendo!

Works great for making quick shaved ice cream from frozen yogurt, chocolate sauce (I add fruit), Ensure -whatever you want to freeze quickly. And it does freeze within 4-6 minutes depending on the density of your liquid. I make my shaved ice, scoop it off, wipe it off and put it back in the freezer before the plate has a chance to thaw. You can make ice cream all night with this method. I read reviews where people said it did not freeze well. If you read the instructions, you need to turn it upside down when initally freezing so the freezing liquid is next to your metal plate. And leave it in the refrigerator for at least 12-18 hours the first time. I store mine in my freezer permanently. I never take it out. That way, it's always ready when I need it. The mistake I made one time is that I decided to leave it in the freezer for 25 minutes (Ensure & sugar free chocolate sauce) Oops-way to hard. Maybe because I was using all low, fat ingredients? Freeze time is gonna depend on the density of your liquid.

Nous n'obtenons pas vraiment des glaces roulees comme souhaité car le refroidissement n'est pas assez important.
