I'm not sure if the other finishes would work better.** A: I wouldn't, I would go darker on teak. This stuff does not really add any color like a stain would. I have used golden oak for kitchen oak cabinets, and dark oak for 25 year old Minwax 230 Early American stained oak trim, and cherry for an antique cherry dininig room table and they all did not "darken" anything. Can be used to feed the wood and protect it. Rub for scrub it on with a stiff brush. let sit until dry, sometimes a few days, then paint or use. Can be used to seal any outside wood, including decks, but do not spray. Scrub into pores, let dry.
