so i wanted to write this review to say, that for the price point and size of this drone, it is by far better than the knock off drones that are on the market trying to measure up to DJI. i have not gotten fully experience the drone in a open area to test out the range that is claimed on the description, but i can say in an area that is surrounded by tall tree, this drone keeps a very good connection to my drone and runs the video to my device (phone in my case) with 98% consistancy.i would not call the a beginner drone, i have years of experience flying radio control airplanes that did help with picking up the drone and flying, although there was still a learning curve. so if you are brand new to drones be warned this drone may be a little difficult at first to learn for you, but it is not an impossible to fly drone for a beginner. as for the price range of close to $350 (which is still cheap for what this drone can do) video quality is excellent in my opinion (wont be doing professional videos) and zoom features are far supior to cheaper drones. so to sum this all up, can a beginner fly this drone, yes. but i would say to be cautious as it will not be considered an easy drone for a new pilot. the only complaint i have, is the first setup with the drone and my phone was not easy and it was fustrating to get it connected, but over all it took me about 20 minutes to figure it out and get it working so once that was completed, there were no more issues with the drone connections to my phone. This drone does require a micro SD card to store videos and photos, it does not directly save to your device, although you do have the option to download it to your device once you are done recording or taking your photos.

I was looking for my first drone and after doing my research I went with this one. I’ve had it for a few months now and absolutely love it. It’s got pretty decent range, I’d say half a mile or so I still get too scared to go any further but the signal stays strong lol. I strongly recommend biting the bullet and getting the fly more combo, without it the singular included battery will only get you about 15-20 minutes of flight time and the included battery charging hub, 2 extra batteries and carrying case are super useful. If you had a fast charger, you could essentially get nearly unlimited flight time by just charging up the batteries and swapping out every 20 minutes. Video quality is fantastic, I keep it at 1080P/60 just for storage conservation and ease of sharing and it still looks phenomenal. This thing can withstand some wind too, it’s so incredibly stable even with some minor gusts too. Using the remote you attach your phone into is fine, but I do think at some point in the future I wanna get the controller with the screen built in. Range is better and it’s just easier and faster to get it in the air without having to fiddle around with getting your phone in the mount, plugging it in and opening the app. Overall I absolutely love this drone, it gets me to go outside and explore cool places so I can get some drone footage lol. I recently went up to the Carolina’s to ride the blue ridge parkway and get off at overlooks to take footage and it was incredible.

Ok it’s been 3 months!! This is addicting and I only now realized how crazy this drone stuff can get. But without a doubt this drone by DJI is unbelievable!! The price was unbelievable when I purchased it for $250, then discounted from the $299 it advertised as. More importantly DJI definitely has made a quality product and affordable at that. Especially for beginners like me.I’ve crashed this drone hard three times. Several minor crashes but the three times where I thought it was over…one motor needed YouTube attention and I had to replace one pair of propellers. Overall well worth the money, I’d pay the $300 easy if I had to replace this one. But DJI definitely makes quality products!!! But I’m looking at other drones by them… the Avata with fvp goggles looks like the next move👍👍👍👍DJI🔥

This is my fourth DJI drone, purchased specifically to help my son develop his piloting skills. For its compact size, this drone delivers an impressive performance. It offers remarkably smooth flight handling, and the image quality exceeds expectations—crisp and clear, even at extended distances.The accompanying app is intuitive and provides essential flight checks, including restriction zones and altitude limits. We were able to maintain excellent video clarity at a distance of approximately 300 yards with no signal degradation. Beyond that range, visual tracking becomes a challenge due to its small profile.Another noteworthy aspect is its quiet operation—surprisingly subdued for a quadcopter. We also appreciate that its lightweight design exempts it from registration requirements. With a full suite of beginner-friendly features and built-in safety mechanisms, this drone serves as a perfect training platform for new pilots.

As long as you read all the instructions prior to flying this easy to use drone you will love it. the camera is good quality as well as the picture quality. Easy to control and battery charge last a very reasonable amount of time after charge on both the remote and drone. the only problem I have with the product is the remote has a holder for your phone but it is designed to where it pushes your phone buttons and makes it difficult to position the phone on the remote to view what the camera is viewing. but it is a lot of fun to use

It's very good , stability is good , quality for both picture and video are nice and crisp. Drone is very easy to control and does hold up very well to wind . The only thing that would have made it perfect is if it would be able to record or capture video or pictures at night. I recommend buying with the whole combo unfortunately I bought the double battery and missed out on getting the battery charger so you won't have to charge the battery directly on the drone everytime.

Battery life is like 25 minutes so I’d buy extra batteries if you want this but the actual drone is amazing it flys well and good camera quality and it’s easy to carry around as well
