The Columbia body vest was excellent quality, so warm, and looked great too. I’m normally a medium at 5'10, 12st 10 but stocky and medium was very tight. Oddly, every other Columbia coat/jacket I have is a medium, and large is massive on me.

I sent this back as it was toooooo o big for me. I would say it fits slightly bigger than you expect, which you want as you may want to wear a jumper under it but I went a full size up and it was a tent on me.It's actually quite long too which I am not sure I liked. There is some sort of lining in this too which means it basically reflects your body heat back at you and helps to retain it, you are your own heating. It's a good idea but I would think that unless it is many minus degrees this would be complete overkill in most of the UK. Best for very cold temps.Overall though from what I saw of it the quality seems decent and the design is fine except for the general sizing weirdness

Keep your back protected and warm. Very important if you are already in your 40s +.This will help you with reoccurring lower back problems. This vest is amazing. Like a thermos flask for your tea , this is to your body. Extremely warm.

The silver lining will put people off but when you have it one nobody sees that. Very comfortable. Perhaps go up a size to make it less tight fitting. No need to go up a size, quite a roomy (not oversized) gilet. Very warm as well

It's a really comfy gilet. This one has a reflective material so it keeps the heat in, and one could argue it works too well. Excellent price, considering gilets seem to be more expensive than a Canada Goose Parka. £50 quid. Bosh. Lovely.

This is a good value gilet when discounted in price.It has less filling than the same one a bought a couple of years ago so 4 stars rather than 5.Fit is true to size - I bought a medium which is my normal sizing
