Everlast New Elite High Top Boxing Shoes - Black, Blue, Red

The media could not be loaded.  I had Everlast boots 10 years ago and It lasted for years. I can say it was durable. I used it on the ring and on the concrete as well. One thing that I didn't like about that shoe is I get blisters on the ball of my right foot. I'm orthodox and my style of boxing is going in and out with a lot of pivots. My remedy for that was placing additional insoles and wearing thick socks. It did lessen the blister but I can still feel the heat on the part of my foot. I also have Lonsdale boots at that time but I was not having the same problem with that shoes compared to the everlast. On this one, I'm experiencing the same problem. The place where I train has concrete floors so if all areas are covered in matt this would be no problem. I bought this because almost all reviews say that this is the all-go boxing shoe that can be thrown in any terrain. I guess I'm gonna be needing additional insoles on this. Overall the built quality, comfort, and outsole Michelin are awesome. It really sticks especially if your style of boxing has a lot of movement. This is a true-to-size shoe too. If you have a narrow foot go for a lower size. I am 8 in any basketball shoes and running shoes. I also know that in boxing the shoe needs to fit snug. I ordered 8 on this one and it's kind of loose because I have very narrow feet. 7 would hit my toes too. The best choice was to go 7.5 but they are not offering so I did go to 8. My suggestion for EVERLAST if ever they would read this comment is to go for half size.

Love them so far. Comfy and light. Well balanced and supportive. So light I did not think it could possibly be a pair of high top shoes in the box when it was delivered. A little rough to get on because they fit snug and I’m not used to putting on high tops.

I definitely am impressed with these boxing shoes!Originally I was looking to replace my Nike Machomai 2 Shoes...however, I decided to give these shoes a try and I was not disappointed! As an everyday boxing training shoe, it is so comfortable, breathable, and worth the price. The shoe is not too stiff around the ankles yet provides support and free movement. I gave it four stars because they weren't ready to go right out of the box.But I loosened the laces so they could be put on easier and added a Dr. Scholl's athletic insole and now I love them!Sturdy but offers good traction and mobility, lightweight, and I like the sole and style.

They take a little to break in but after that they feel great. The shoes have a nice design which provide great ankle support while also being light on the feet. The only reason I would see someone not liking the shoe is the material of the sole is not commonly used in most boxing shoes.

It grips very well. Light and easy dry because of its mesh surface. I like it.
