Traditional Area Rugs Cream Rugs for Living Room 5x7 Clearance Under 50

I ordered a 2x8 runner and the 8x11 rug. Both arrived in a few days. I read most of the lower rated reviews before I ordered. There seemed to be two common complaints. (1) The rugs were not as thick as could be and (2) The rugs came rolled up and would not lay flat in a reasonable time.I'd like to dispute both of these complaints. I only paid $105 for the two rugs, tax included with free shipping. Yes these are not the thickest rugs in the world. The thickness is certainly more than adequate for the price paid. They are NOT PAPER THIN. Yes they come rolled up. My wife and I unrolled them, did a little reverse rolling and unrolling and laid them on the floor. Within 30 minutes both rugs are laying at least 95% flat. We placed a few reams of paper on the tightly rolled up ends and left them overnight. Rugs are now almost totally flat in less than 24 hours. Both rugs will need some double tape to insure they don't slip, especially the runner since it's long and somewhat narrow. My wife and I are quite pleased with both rugs. Great buy for the price, great looking rugs.

I was really surprised with the quality, color and overall value. did not expect a lot for price but was I fooled. I love it!unrolled and it almost layed flat right away..by next day it was perfect. was delivered almost week earlier than expected. packaged very well. am thinking about another one in a different color for my spare bedroom to protect my hardwood floors. have made many trips over my new one and it has not moved out of place at all. could not be happier!

Can buy it cheaper at the co. that sells them, buydiscountrug. Says wool/wool blend, can't verify.States 0.5" thick, that's way off.Comes rolled up bottom out, nasty bend at end, re-rolled it top out, fastened bent end backward 3 hours, then laid it out. Used hands to smooth out over hard low pile outdoor carpet in sunroom.It's a great rug, beautiful, worth the effort to flatten. Still not perfect but I could iron the bottom if it really bothered me. Feels soft on bare feet but not very soft.

Bought 2 5x7 rugs for my small duplex which has a long living area on hardwood floors. Fit nicely and I also added a rug pad underneath instead of the waffle style no slip stuff that doesn't work with big rugs for very long. I used carpet tape to tape down the pad on the corners and also tape on the top of the pad for the rug to sit on. The photos on the item page for ivory look a bit yellow , however the ivory is more cream color than white. All the other colors are great especially if you have lots of jewel tones in your home (burgundy, dark greens, golden etc) I also bought a runner for my hallway 8" long good price.

This thin but fairly soft rug is reasonably attractive, but not the color I expected. I ordered the green, thinking the lightest color in the pattern would be beige as pictured. It is golden. The green is a pretty shade, but the gold doesn't blend with the colors in my bedroom as well as I had hoped. I'm keeping it anyway despite an unpleasant chemical odor, which, after two days, is still very strong. Hoping it stops off-gassing soon. If I had it to do over, I might order a different rug.

Wow - I didn't expect such a poor quality rug! Stiff, smelly, thin, rough and a design that looked much better in the pictures (looks like its printed in low-bit pixels). I wouldn't even take this rug for free and I deeply regret spending money on it. I guess this is the risk you take buying something online sight unseen?

Very light weight, very well made and colors vibrant. The first week it took awhile to lay flat but then it relaxed. Big dog had his first "accident" on it and it was bad! Cleaned up back to perfect in a few minutes. Super happy with it in all aspects and specially in the way it cleans. I really don't need to add a picture, it is exactly as described.

This is the ULTIMATE rug if you watch a lot of TV sports. I set under my coffee table between my couch and TV, and it covers the foot stainage in the "high foot-traffic area" when I get up between game timeouts to go to the kitchen to grab another beer. Plus its "classy Oriental-type" design pattern will impress people (ie in my case: the females, haha) you have come over to visit. If you need a basic rug, this is pretty much ALL you need...and at a WAY better price than the $500+-ish ones you see hanging from the ceiling at snobby, "high end" rug stores. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, especially if you don't like wasting a bunch of cash!
