Perfect Replacement โ Did the Job!
Exactly what I was looking for! We needed a replacement valve set and this worked perfectly. It fit as expected, was straightforward to install, and saved us from having to replace the entire fixture. Sometimes you just need a replacement part that actually works, and this did exactly what we needed it to do. Great find and definitely worth the purchase!

"Newport Brass" replacement cartridge
Brass 1-001 & Brass 1-002 Ceramic Valve Set Couldn't find this at Home Depot or Lowes. These saved the fixtures in my bathroom - both sinks were leaking. These replacements went in easy, and work smoothly with no leaks. Apparently these are for "Newport Brass" brand faucets, but my faucets had no visible branding. I just carefully compared the picture and measurements. I had a devil of a time getting the old cartridges loose from the fixture. The "nut" at the top is pretty shallow, and hard to get a good grip on. I had to pull the whole faucet out from the sink, mount it in a bench vise, and then use a large pipe wrench on the upper threads on order to break it loose. I recommend using a little silicone grease on the o-ring and threads before installing. Knocking a star for price. These are quite a bit more expensive than other cartridge types.

Works good and cheaper than OEM.
Worked great for my Newport Brass hot water faucet valve. It is made in China and surprisingly it has been working great, no drips or leaks.
