Bob's Red Mill Active Dry Yeast, 8oz (Pack of 1) - Gluten Free, Vegan, Paleo Friendly, Kosher

The left is my sourdough that I made last night, cold proofed in the fridge for 13 hours and then baked. The right is a quick sourdough loaf made with my discard, that I used with this yeast! Honestly pretty good rise for what it’s worth! Obviously it’s not going to be the same rise that I get from regular sourdough. But when I need a fast loaf and don’t have all day to make it, it works pretty good! I’d say the value is definitely a deal considering I bake sourdough pretty much daily for my small business & didnt want to buy those individual packets! I hope my picture helps another fellow sourdough baker determine to buy this product or not, because I didn’t see too many pictures of people’s loafs when reading the reviews before buying. Happy to know I’m using better quality yeast! No abnormal taste or smell. I’d say has a great shelf life but I’ve almost used the entire bag from all the delicious bread! Rises well when put in the perfect temperature water. The texture is expected. Considering it’s free from alot of other junk, I feel the money equals the value. Bakes well, seems to be very good yeast.

This is an very active healthy yeast. It created a quick rise and was nice an strong. Would recommend.
