Lagoona Blue: Now With Cargo Pants and Main Character Energy
I bought the Monster High Lagoona Blue doll for my daughters, aged 6 and 8, who are fully committed Monster High collectors. At this point, our house is less “family home” and more “highly fashionable monster boarding school with snacks.” Lagoona was an instant hit. The cargo pants, mesh tee and mixed-print outfit give her the look of someone who could fight a sea creature, attend a music festival, and still remember to accessorise properly. My daughters absolutely love Monster High and are trying to collect all the characters, which means I now live in fear of hearing the words, “We don’t have that one yet.” The quality is really good, as it usually is with Monster High dolls. They feel well made, have loads of little details, and come with enough extras to make the opening experience feel like a tiny gothic Christmas morning. Half the fun is getting everything out of the box while my children hover beside me like impatient fashion consultants with glitter in their souls. Price-wise, toys are always a bit expensive for what you get these days — I’m fairly sure cardboard packaging now has its own economy — but I managed to get this during Prime Day with 25% off, which made it feel much more reasonable. With Monster High, you do get more charm than the average doll: the accessories, the styling, the character design, and the general “spooky but fabulous” energy all add up. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Five stars for quality, detail, extras, and making my daughters extremely happy while slowly turning my house into a Monster High storage facility. Lagoona Blue has officially joined the collection, and judging by the excitement, she may already be running the place.
