It is rare that I purchase something that fulfils or exceeds my expectations and makes me genuinely want to write a review. This did.The light is not heavy and replaced a light already in situ. I bought it because an inconveniently placed light switch made it difficult to turn the light in our utility room on and off.Installation was very easy. Changing settings was straight forward. A series of dip switches control everything. Before I connected and installed it I set all the positions while it was on my dining table. I did borrow my wife’s reading glasses to do so but switch one was set to on (1) switch two to off (0) and so on. There are 9 small dip switches to set in the same way but the instructions were fine although in small writing.Installation was easy. The results fantastic. We set the light to come on when we enter the room. It stays on for three minutes then turns off unless you are moving around in the room.My wife and I are really pleased. It does exactly what We wanted and looks good to. The light switch is left permanently on while the light does its thing. I have no doubt we will buy another for somewhere else. 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏼👍

Well what can one say it is a brilliant piece of kit.Easy as pie to install, works perfectly and is far brighter than expected even on lowest illumination setting.Some people have found the lighting settings confusing with all those digit settings, but it is straight forward they mean on or off that's all..I will try to explain in layman's terms.Set at 6 meters or closer is the distance from the sensor someone has to be to illuminate the light,any further than 6 meters it will not work.So the settings would be : number 1 switch is on (1) the number 2 switch is off (0).And so forth for other distances.Think of the numbers as on or off (1 is on 2 is off).The delay time is exactly the same so at 6 meters with a delay time(amount of the time the light stays on) of 1 minute, switch 3 is off,and switches 4 and 5 are on.The lux means the amount of brightness ,the higher the number the brighter the light.So in our case we can go from 5 lux to 2000 lux which is equivalent to say a 200watt lightbulb.So again at 6 meters with a lux light of 10 lux we would set switch 6 off (0) switch seven on(1) switch 8 on(1).If we want a lux at say 50 lux we would set the switch 6 on(1) switch 7 on(1) switch 8 off(0).See it is straightforward and I apologise to those who already know all that as it is per instructions but I hope it has made it easier to understand for those who need help.I hope it last as it has brightened up a very dark hallway automatically as we walk into it,and it is a very comfortable,cosy feeling.Pete

I can honestly say I'm impressed with this light manufacturers quality. The lamp feels very light and looks simple. The dip switches may be the best solution yet to the set up for this type of light. I found connection extremely easy and the sensor works brilliantly. It looks good and works well. For the money I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better unit

Installation was very straightforward and when I switched it on for the first time I was delighted. Second time I switched it on the LED's went in to disco mode (flashing on and off and the microwave unit LED lit up red). It became apparent that two of the LED's (which are surface mounted) had failed. Good product let down by cheap parts/manufacturing.

This was a bit fiddly to fit in that some alterations were required to the metal back plate in order to fit the wires through, but other than that, easy to install.Works well at 45 seconds on time.The unit I received stopped working after only 4 months, but the seller has agreed to send a replacement, so can't argue with the customer service.

Nice but not perfect. The light switches on then goes off then back on but not so bright then bright. Can’t be bothered to change it as it gives light... but not what I expected....,

Really good light for the right area. My two are in lobby’s that are quite dark as no natural light. They dimly glow when off, then react when approached. A bank of micro switches adjust the various controls over duration, sensitivity, off brightness etc. There’s a lot of technology packed into this and it looks good when up and is very lightweight.

Well made and good quality. Works very well.I've got it set to come on at dusk and go off when it gets light.It gets brighter as you approach and dims again after a period of time.Very good.
