how many coats should be used on a surface which has been sealed before?

If you are sealing a new previously untreated surface then I would suggest two coats. In my case I have an imprinted concrete drive and find that I need to reseal once a year. Usually one coat is enough; have applied two a few times but not seen any benefit. I have to use a bloom remover before applying the sealer as the drive surface does turn milky in places over time. I have found that first applying the bloom remover followed by one coat of sealer gives the best results.

this product has small grains within the liquid (ensure you stir well before use) it is non slip when wet but when covered in ice or snow less so.
