Good quality for the money

I used this blade on my miter saw to cut retaining wall blocks 16“ x 16“x 12” and it did it beautifully. I used 2 blades to cut 130 blocks.

Harbor Freight is generally known for decent products at lower prices than Big Boxes. Their Bauer brand blades are $13 but "guaranteed heavy duty." Still, I was looking for cheaper ones as the blades will easily wear out cutting masonry, concrete, brick, etc. Unlike cutting or drilling wood & metal, where you will feel the difference between sharp drills & blades cutting faster & effortlessly, it hard to tell with cutting masonry. Therefore, I can only give 3-stars for the blades having finished edges and glued on particles associated with "diamond" blades. The other indicator is how quickly the teeth edges wear out, but who's recording the cutting time against the blade edges getting dull ? Again, 3 stars for not breaking up or "burnt" smell when cutting masonry (using a cutoff blades for metal, you'll get lots of sparks and smell if used on masonry). A couple of points on the use of these blades: 1. 4 1/2" - fits grinder, cutoff tool. You can use a 7 1/2" circular saw for larger cuts with a 7" blade, but you can control a grinder better, but without a base plate, you can't just set a grinder to cut away. For lots of line cuts, use a circular saw with a base plate. 7" blades cost 2x as much as 4 1/2". 2. these are segmented blades which have 5-6 channels in the blades for better masonry cutting. The full blades (without segment channels) are for tile, marbles, etc. where the material is thinner and you want a cleaner cut.
