I bought this toy for my 5 year old. They adore it. I can't speak on longevity yet, but I don't feel that will be a problem. I assumed it would be lower quality since it was on sale and I'm really surprised! It's right on par with our more expensive Montessori wooden toys. Also, it was really thoughtful to include a tiny square of sandpaper. The wood feels very smooth and like we won't need it, but I appreciate the extra care.

This car is two wooden halves sloppily glued together. The pieces don’t meet, there is a gap along the seam, and a lot of glue buildup in apparently trying to stick them together. And so much sawdust still coating it! It came with a piece of sandpaper like it’s the buyers responsibility to make sure they don’t get splinters.

Very cute car. Great activity for kids. Will fun to paint with my kid. He loves cars so he will love this with the little peg people to play with.

This is a nice wooden car. It is unfinished and it did require some sanding in a few spots to smooth it out but it wasn't too bad. It even came with a small piece of sandpaper to make it happen. The wheels are pretty smooth and roll nicely. My only issue is that this is two pieces of wood glued together and the woods don't match at all so the car is very two toned. If you were planning on painting it, it would be no big deal, but I want to keep the natural wood grain and it looks very odd with the sides of the care being completely different colors. So the function is good but aesthetically could be better.

This is great for DIY projects to gift to little children for creative play. Either paint and gift or for an older child let them help. Or play with them as is. The price is fair for what you get, these are made of solid wood and Peg people just tend to be on the more pricey side. Get yourself some acrylic paint and sealant of choice and you have a fun little craft. I would purchase again and can recommend.

This unfinished wood car kit is perfect for a rainy day or a relaxing weekend craft. I love that it comes with everything you need to get started, including the peg people! It will be so much fun to see what my kids come up with using their imaginations and creativity.

This is so much fun for my grandkids. Came with a piece of sandpaper to soften it if necessary. I didn’t see any issues to have to use it. I will paint it to make it personalized for The family. Peg people are so cute.

I can't wait to paint and decorate this unfinished wood family and car. My sone and daughter in law just had twins making them a family of 6, so this will be a Mother's Day gift for the twins room. Ill post a revised review to show the finished product.
