MALE, USING THIS ON MY FACIAL HAIR, and it is the best hair removal device I've found. 1) this was the only brand I bought that would actually work on my face. I bought 2 Silk'n brand devices, and neither of them would trigger on my face, rendering them unusable. 2) it is actually removing my facial hair! Since that hair is THICK, it takes commitment. I have been using it every other day for about 2 months. All of my facial hair has thinned, and some patches have been completely removed, so realistically speaking, I think 5 to 6 months of use will get rid of all of it. ON MY BODY it eliminated hair in most places after a few uses. REALLY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS, AND THE PRICE!

I would recommend. It hasn’t completely removed my hair but there is such a noticeable difference.I have not used as frequently as directed but I am still impressed by the results. I went from shaving underarms to every other day to once a week. My skin is so much smoother because I don’t shave a frequently.

I think it’s time I write a review for this product, and right off the bat I can say this is money well spent. I will include some things I would have liked to know before I got the product, but over all I highly recommend!The product instructions recommend doing the treatment every other day or every three days. Just because of my schedule, that wasn’t something I was able to do, but at this point I have done 10 sessions over 7 weeks and already about 80% of my leg hair is gone! You can see a few small areas where the hair is still coming in, and I am doing targeted treatments now. Even the areas that are still growing back are growing much slower. It’s amazing how well it works.Also, other areas on my body are already completely done like my armpits, and my happy trail. It only took a few sessions for these areas to stop growing all together. I will say that it leaves a bit of a 5 o clock shadow, like you can see the dormant follicle just under the skin still. Maybe it isn’t as completely nude looking as waxing, but a win is a win. I will never have to remove these hairs again.It is a process that you have to commit a lot of time to, so if you’re a busy person or don't have a lot of patience, don’t expect you’ll be able to do it every other day. However, even if you take your time over a few months it will definitely work. I also will say the areas where you have more of a tan will take longer, because it’s harder for the laser to differentiate the skin and hair follicle. If you have any visible stubble at all, don’t waste time treating it because the laser won’t be able to target the follicle. It’ll aim towards the surface where it detects your new growth. These are also the times you might feel a sting or zap because the laser is aiming at your skin. Other than that, there is no pain at all.If you stay on top of using this, you will get great results.

This is my first IPL device, so I was really scared to use it. However, as advertised, there was no pain or discomfort during usage! As of writing this, I’ve just finished my first treatment, so I can’t say if it works yet, but I will continue to use it and update on the results. I knocked off one star because, like many have complained, this device is somewhat bulky to use. But compared to their previous versions, this model does look much more manageable.In the meantime, I will share some tips I’ve found with you all:- Shave at least 12 hours prior to treatment. You could use the razor that came with the product. According to the manual, it seems you could use the device right after shaving, but I’ve read elsewhere that you should wait at least 12 hours since the skin is sensitive after shaving.- After treatment, avoid water or products with chemical additives for at least 6 hours. If your skin feels dry or warm, you could use aloe vera. Avoid exposure to the sun for at least 24 hours or, as the manual suggests, 48 hours.- If your skin feels warm after usage, like mine did, you could do a quick run over with the sapphire head without turning the device on to cool down your skin.- If your hair grows to more than 2mm before the next treatment, shave it off before using, or else you might smell burning hair.- Most importantly, consistency and perseverance are key!UPDATE: After about four weeks of using this product on my right leg as an experiment, I’m happy with the results! I’ve attached an image, and if you look at it, my right leg’s hair is definitely shorter than my left leg, on which I didn’t use the product. It does work! It has reduced the growth rate of my leg hairs.To test if this product actually works, for the past few weeks, I’ve been shaving both legs the same way, using shaving cream, and at the same time; Whenever I shaved one leg, I also shaved the other to match the hair length. The only difference is that I’ve only used this product on my right leg about every other day using the normal mode (I’m still too scared to try higher modes on my leg because normal mode sometimes gives me pain, lol). I let my hairs grow out a bit before taking the attached image so you could see the difference more clearly.Now for more of my experience using this product: I like to press the cold point on my skin long enough to numb it before pressing flash to reduce pain. The cold point doesn’t feel that cold on my legs, but when I used it on my fingers, it felt as cold as ice cubes. So rest assured, it is cold. However, I sometimes feel a pinch-like pain even though the hair was less than 2mm and I didn’t use it on darker skin, so I’m not sure why. Finally, I still don’t like the bulkiness of the device. It becomes a hassle, especially when you use it on places like your armpit.Anyway, I will continue to use this product and start using it on my other leg as well.
