I am actually shocked. I have used bar shampoo and conditioner bars before and wasnt impressed as they left a waxy residue. I decided to try one more time. But I can honestly say these do not leave a residue! I have used the set of J&L Naturals shampoo and conditioner bars exclusively for several weeks now and my hair is in better shape then it was before hand.I have long, bleached, straight, overly oily scalp type hair.The shampoo bar cleans so well and suds up into a nice lather from the start. The first few showers, it seemed to strip my hair of old residue but didnt damage it. The conditioner bar works well so only use on your midshaft and ends. Its got a light shea butter feel to it but the bar is hard. You will have to get used to the feel of your natural hair not it coated in silicone like other conditioners can have in them. So you end up with clean hair thats not weighed down. I am very happy with this set and will be buying more to replace them. So far the bars stay solid in the shower caddy and it seems like they are going to last a couple months with just 1 person using them.

I’ve been using this solid conditioner bar in conjunction with the shampoo bar of the same brand for over a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with how well it works!!! Love how long these bars last and how little space they take up. Best part is the zero waste!!! I get so many compliments on my hair! Great value considering how long they last, and the scent is really lovely and subtle. I highly recommend these handmade bars!

This conditioner bar is smooth and easy to work into hair. It’s moisturizing and leaves my hair feeling soft. My only issue is that the fragrance is so strong. It smells good, just a bit too strong in the shower - it’s over-powering. Otherwise I liked it.

My hair is down to my hips. It is difficult to find a conditioner that actually helps my hair. Most conditioners are just a waist of money. The first 2 times I used this I thought there was no way. My hair was so tangled I couldn't get a brush through it. I was pulling out more hair because of knots then ever before. The third time I used it my brush went through my hair like it was silk. Even when I get up in the morning I don't have tangles. I was cleaning hair out of my brush every time I brushed my hair. I've only cleaned a few hairs out of it since the 3rd time I used the bar, and it's been weeks. This conditioner is absolutely amazing. I have already told a couple of others about it. My hair looks healthier and shiner already too.

This is a gorgeous product! I love these shampoo and conditioner bars! They both work amazingly well and leave my hair feeling light, not heavy and limp. I cannot go back to commercial junk shampoos and conditioners! These are great products! The conditioner bar, in particular, seems to last forever! It is also a larger sized bar making it easier to hold onto while slippery. I highly recommend these and have already ordered more.

I tried this with the matching shampoo bar because I'm trying to reduce my use of plastics. Overall, I am pleased with this set and will order again. The conditioner took a little more effort to get enough onto my hair than the shampoo bar, but I also have really fine waist length hair that is addicted to being tangled so I'm accustomed to slathering thick lotion-like shampoo from the neck down. This bar somehow did a good enough job that I was able to comb through as usual after washing and my hair behaved normally with my standard blow dry and brushing. The feeling of product-left-behind was minimal to average.My naturally silky straight hair was a little more silky soft than usual (didn't know that was possible) and my husband kept stroking it.I felt that this set was heavy on the geranium scent. It is scented with essential oils and to my picky nose, it does smell like Essential Oils People, but I'll still use it. The scent didn't linger too much so it didn't bother me throughout the day. I had my husband and mom smell my hair and they both thought the scent was fine. I would still order again, and would be especially interested in scents like just rose, jasmine, etc.Additionally, I tried the unscented plastic free lip balm this company makes and it is excellent. I will order more of their products in the future.

This conditioner and shampoo were packaged nicely. I think the scent isn't too strong, which is nice. It is a different way to wash hair so it took a bit of time to realize I was using shampoo and not soap. It lathered and did a decent job of conditioning my hair, but my hair needs special shampoo and conditioner and I thought this would help but my hair started to look dull and feel rough. It was also difficult to comb through. This may be a good product for people with short hair.

This conditioner works so well for me. It makes my hair feel soft and I have less split ends. It is lightweight and doesn’t make my hair oily at all. I also really like the smell of it!
