Very Up to Date and Progressive
This is a perfect book for anyone stuck with negative thoughts and outlooks. It contains good information for any age but would be an excellent gift for a young adult. Its contents will most definitely put one on a path of success and joy. Highly recommended.

Some big names who’ve faced tough times with a positive mindset and came out on top
I’ve got a close buddy whose kid’s turning 15 next month. I’m big on self-help books, you see. They’ve really helped me sort things out and better myself. While this book isn’t tailored for teens but I know that it’s never too early for them to start learning about this stuff. And let me tell you, it dives into stories of some big names who’ve faced tough times with a positive mindset and came out on top. It’s the kind of stuff that can really inspire a young one.

This book does so much more than just explain the idea of positive thinking.
I found this book to be very applicable and reader-friendly. Although it offers many researched and scientific-based studies (which I appreciated), it also balanced the presented information with anecdotes from case studies and real-life scenarios. It has a balance of well-researched material partnered with relatable life stories. The chapters are broken down into bite-size sections that almost left me wanting more. It’s not overwhelming and yet this book is loaded with valuable information. I like that the author first defines positive thinking and shows how that mindset can be implemented in life. This book is filled with tools and strategies that can help you change how you think so that you can see things in a new way.I appreciate the slight academic bend to it; for example, it talks a little about the scientific basis and psychological theories that incorporate positive thinking. I particularly enjoyed the chapter on “Achieving Personal Goals with Positive Thinking”. This had sections that talked about setting and visualizing goals, techniques for effective goal setting, visualization exercises for goal achievement, inspirational stories of triumph, overcoming personal barriers, and celebrating milestones. It’s worth repeating that this author weaves a great balance of research, psychological tools, techniques, and theories with personal stories and real-life inspiration. I highly recommend this book. It will be one that I revisit.

This Book WILL Help You
I am a huge fan of positive thinking and books on this genre. Unfortunately there are a few out there with wordy, spacey, mystical bunk...designed to take your money. This is not one of those. A very practical book with excellent advice. Don’t skip the part on being a positive parent.

Great perspective
We often hear about positive thinking but I really liked how this book delved into it from discussing reframing our perspective as well as how our thinking can influence our physiology. We tend to naturally have a negative bias which means have more negative thoughts in order to be "protected" but ultimately it doesn't help us unless there's a true threat. I really liked the tools the book shared and the different ways it looked at how our attitude towards life can impact our own success in life.

The author explores this from many different angles, such as health challenges, work challenges, relationship challenges and more.This book is a great addition for anyone who cares about self-improvement and empowerment.

Well Written, Great Information
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and made many notes as I went through the book for my own future reference. There are many suggestions to put theory into practice. I also enjoyed reading the anecdotes about well-known people from around the world and how they have shown resilience.
