Kids had fun!
The media could not be loaded. My kids have had a good time with these planes. They really like the lights which show up very well. They like to go fly them with the neighborhood kids at night so they can enjoy the lights. They don’t go super far, but it’s enough to keep them busy for a while! They hold up well too. We haven’t had any issues, playing on grass, and roads. I think for the cost they are a good deal for outside entertainment.

Awesome Plane Launcher
I got a few of these sets for my boys for Christmas. They both have had other gliders, but my younger four year old has problems sometimes throwing those and keeping them up in the air. The launcher with these helps him send the plane in level flight, so it's less frustrating for him than throwing the plane. The lights and the wheels are a nice touch too. I'm not sure how long they'll last, but at the price point I think these are pretty awesome and would just buy another set if they do breakdown over time.

Fun for the kids
Now as these are a Christmas gift for our boys, we haven't tested them out. That said, I've seen these over the years and going by the look of them and a few reviews here I feel confident the kids will have fun with these. That said, the very nature of the toy and the materials it's made with I'm not sure about how long they'll last. At this price though? if the kids get a couple of weeks of fun out of it it's worth it.

Fun planes, Lights look cool
These planes are pretty fun at night. The lights are bright and really stand out. The planes don’t fly very far though as the wheels on the bottom are kinda heavy for the styrofoam plane. Otherwise my child and I have had fun playing with these.

Foam body airplanes, plastic launcher, and so far works great
The media could not be loaded. This is a toy airplane launching kit intended to be used as a toy. There is 1 launcher and 3 foam airplanes in this kit. The launcher is mostly medium blue in color, and is made from a plastic that so far seems to me to be of medium level quality. So while I do believe that it is durable enough to last for a good amount of time when only used as intended and with reasonable care, I also do believe it to be not as good of an idea to use it too roughly, or for other unintended purposes. At least not if you want it to last as long as possible. The launcher itself does not appear to me to require assembly or the use of extra parts beyond the airplanes. The mechanism by which the launcher functions does work quite well, at least so far, although it was also a bit tricky at first for me to figure out how to correctly use it. But that part is most likely my own fault, and not the launcher's fault, since toy airplane launching is not a hobby of mine, nor do I have any prior experience at all with this kind of item. The airplanes are all the same size and model style, and appear made of the same kind of foam for their main bodies, although they are each a different color. Those colors are medium orange or maybe red-orange, yellow-orange, and medium blue. All 3 planes do require the wings and tails to be assembled. They also each have a white plastic pilot cabin and set of landing gear wheels, presumably for visual design purposes, along with a white plastic undercarriage. It is this undercarriage which has the plane's portion of the launching mechanism.Upon using the launcher correctly to launch planes, I noticed that the launcher is surprisingly powerful. We had tested it in the living room, standing in the entryway and aiming to the opposing farthest corner. Upon all launch tests, the triggered mechanism released with a rather loud click or snap sound and the plane was immediately launched very fast. So much so that my brain could only register the outline blur of the planes during launch. It does appear that the way the launcher is aimed, as well as the way the wings and tail are set, will determine the way the planes will typically tend to fly or glide, and how fast and far. When used outside, then clearly the weather plus any relevant nearby environmental factors will play a role too. I'm sure a more experienced user would have not only a better understanding of how this mechanism works, how to use it for best results, but also the skill level needed for those best results. But everyone has to start from the beginning level of any skill, and with time, effort, and patience, I do believe this toy plane launcher could become a fun activity or hobby for anyone who enjoys airplane related toys or activities.5 out of 5 stars.Thankyou to my dad for modeling these foam planes for this review.
