Q: Would this be safe to make cups and dishware?

Yes, it should be fine for most foods. Britannia metal contains no lead. However, it would still be best to avoid using for extremely acidic foods, or as an every day use item. Cider, beer, ale, wine etc can be drank from Britannia metal but don't let the dregs sit, Excessive consumption of cider (high in acid) from Britannia metal cups can leach antimony from the metal. Antimony is an emetic, and could cause vomiting- but not poisoning. Casual consumption should not be a problem. Rinse your cups as soon as you are done to keep from marring the surface finish.

Q: It's just a lad I was used to make 50 caliber round ball bullets for hunting

I bought one of these ingots to do some simple melting & casting experiments with my sons. Haven't got to it yet. Would probably be good for casting bullets, but I don't know much about that
