An excellent product of superior quality
Excellent product. First of all you need to remember that this is a medical device, not a comfort item. A number of advantages against others on the market: Graded compression from ankle (most important compression part) to calf; Soft and stretchy but exceptionally strong material - thicker and stronger than others; Open toe - much easier to put on than the closed-toe socks, and eliminates sizing issues (no foot length to consider, leaving you free to find the best size for your ankle and calf circumference); A donning aid (soft nylon "slipper") is included - you put it on your foot like a slipper, pull the sock on over it, - your toes will be sticking out through the open toe sock part - then grasp the slipper by its toe part and pull it off from under the sock. I however have found that the socks are easy enough to put on without using the slipper; The socks are long enough for long legs and have plenty stretch in them not to shrink back down, eliminating slipping down from the calf; The top band is extremely soft, stretchy and not at all constricting while managing to hold the sock up all day with zero slipping; They are machine-washable and suitable for low temperature tumble drying; The price is nearly £8 cheaper than other medical grade socks and the quality is far superior; The support is strong without being constricting - I do not feel I am wearing them once they are on. Important points to remember - Socks must fit well over the heel in order to be stretched properly up the leg; You must allow 2-finger widths below the crease of the knee to be left free of sock; Smooth the sock up and down on your leg with your hands once it's on, don't pull (a pair of clean DIY gloves is great for this). For a 173 cm tall person with slim calves I got a size S and it fits perfectly - observe the size guide and go smaller if you are in between sizes to ensure adequate compression. Do not dry them on the radiator, even a warm one - if you wash by hand, roll them in a towel then "stomp" on it to draw out excess moisture, then dry overnight on back of a chair and they will be ready to wear in the morning. Do not put them on over skin on which oils- or silicone-containing creams have just been used, as those will cling to fibres eventually ruining the stretch.

Misleading Product Caption
It says pack of 2 but only came in 1 pair. I thought it means 2 pairs! If it only comes in 1 pair, it’s not necessary to write pack of 2. So misleading! If you didn’t mention pack of 2, I would have bought the black colour! The nude colour one looks terrible. I wouldn’t want it to be seen by others.

Support for venous insufficiency
I had an operation for varicose veins in 1985. Unfortunately, the posy operative tests showed that they had removed good veins and left bad ones. Since then. I have needed medical compression stockings. I found Duomed to be the best. They used to be made of thicker stronger material. This thinner material does not last so long. Although I get most pairs on prescription. I sometimes have to by extra pairs myself
