It does not like to be in a cool environment, not hot. I used this fertilizer about every six weeks and gradually increased the amount as my plant got older. My plant is very full and about 4 feet tall. I have had it for almost 3 years. Last fall I planted it in my yard and mulch it very well in the winter. I live 60 miles below Atlanta.
