Rain-X Anti-fog Wipes for Car Windscreen Fog, 40 Units

As an experiment I applied this product to the driver side of my car window, not the passenger side. It didn't take long for my passengers to begin complaining! In short, this product works, and it works very well indeed.I've found that it helps the product to perform best if I first clean the glass, removing any build up of dust or greasy marks. After letting the inside of my windscreen fully dry, I thing carefully give it a good rub with a couple of these cloths, making sure to cover every bit of glass several times, and rubbing the product in well. The result is a fog free screen that's easier to see out of, and therefore safer. I also use Rain-X anti beading product on the exterior of the screen, by the way. The combination is game-changing, and I highly recommend you try it out.These wipes are great for bathroom mirrors as well, and anything else you'd prefer not to fog-up. They're well worth the money at around 25p each, especially if the help you avoid a car accident! Five stars.

I thought it would go on the outside of the car windows and make the rain bead up. It doesn't. That's on me. What it's actually for is to go on the inside of the car windows so they don't fog up on you. Our car's fan takes care of that, so instead I tried it on the bathroom mirror and the kitchen window where that IS a problem for us. It worked just fine. It's nice being able to get out of the shower and actually see yourself in the mirror instead of having to wipe it off. There's 40 wipes in the container, so it should last you a good while too. Totally worth getting.

Used these for a slightly different purpose for most - they were used to prevent fog on my airsoft goggles. So far I have found the wipes to be very effective. I ordered these Rainx anti fog wipes.So far I have not had reason to use these ih my car as its approaching summer but I did use one on my bathroom mirror and it's stopped them fogging up due to the steam.I was very careful pulling a sheet out as I read previous reviews where more than one sheet comes out if you pull hard.There are 40 sheets in the tub and one will easily coat your windscreen.

I used one of these anti fog wipes on the mirrors in my bathroom earlier today to see if they work. I’ve just had a hot bath and I’m pleased to report that the mirrors did not steam up! I’m sure these wipes are going to be very useful to use on the car window later on this year.I found it a bit tricky to pull just the one wipe out the tub (ended up with three so I stuffed two back in) - I was wearing protective gloves, as suggested, which didn’t help matters. I might just remove the lid and get one that way next time.They seem quite expensive for 40 wipes but I guess it’s because they’re so convenient to use this way. They do have a use by date that’s over two years ahead so should last a while.I’m now hoping the rest of my family will notice the clear mirrors when they have a shower or bath and wonder why!

I ordered these for the car windscreen but thought I’d test them primarily on the ensuite bathroom mirror. Due to the small size of the room the mirror fogs every time someone has showered.I have to admit I was sceptical on how these would perform, however these wipes are fantastic.They arrive in a tub in which the wipes are pulled out through a hole in the top. It’s easy to use and the reseal lid keeps the remaining wipes moist. Application to the glass is straightforward and leaves it smear free.We took two back to back showers this morning and the mirror is still perfectly clear! I’m now convinced and will be completing my windscreen over the weekend.Outstanding product and therefore I have awarded them a five star rating.

Hard to really test this in the car during the summer but it does say on the tub that its good for bathroom mirrors too so thats just where I tried it.First off the wipe cloths are quite small, be careful pulling them out as I got about four out in one go thinking it was one cloth.Polishing with the wipe I was left with a mirror with a few white bits from the wipe on it and as much as i polished it looked a bit smeary in places. In the end I had to get a 'normal' cloth and polish it over after.However the next day I was surprised when I got out the shower to be greeted by a crystal clear mirror. Took me a minute to remember I'd used these on it. So they do work very well one applied.So while they do take a bit of effort and elbow grease to use, these do work very well it seems.

Estas toallitas funcionan perfectamente y tienen más usos de lo esperado. En primer lugar, las puse a prueba en el espejo del baño y tras un baño relajante con agua bien caliente, al salir de la bañera pude comprobar que el espejo no se había empañado ni lo más mínimo, cuando lo habitual es que no fuera capaz de verme reflejado.Después las puse a prueba en la luna delantera del coche (parte interna) y me resolvió el problema que tenía cuando utilizaba el aire acondicionado, ya que siempre se me empañaba por la parte central inferior, justo donde coincide con la salida de aire frío y ahora no tengo de que preocuparme.Por último, se me ocurrió utilizarlas en la parte exterior de los cristales del coche y para mi sorpresa, cuando fui al lavadero a lavar el coche pude comprobar que el agua corría por el cristal hacia abajo prácticamente sin dejar gotas, lo que te ahorra las molestas marcas de salpicaduras si no secas bien el coche.La primera vez que las utilizas, tienes que quitar un precinto protector que trae el bote, quitar la tapa superior (va encajada a presión, por lo que apretando el bote un poco y tirando de la tapa sale), coger la primera toallita y pasarla por el dispensador (en mi caso, una pequeña puntita de primera toallita asomaba ya…). Después, cerrar la tapa y luego tener cuidado al coger las toallitas porque es fácil que salgan varias pegadas, ya que las toallitas van en rollo y tenemos que cortarlas por la zona punteada. Si nos pasamos sacando mas de una toallita, simplemente volvemos a quitar la tapa, tiramos de la toallita hacia el interior y cerramos el bote quedando nuevamente la toallita que hemos sacado sin querer guardada en el bote para el próximo uso.La manera de utilizarlas es bastante sencilla. En un cristal limpio, simplemente tendremos que aplicar la toallita en movimientos circulares y superpuestos para asegurarnos de no dejarnos ninguna superficie sin utilizar. Después con un paño seco eliminar los restos de producto o pelusilla que pueden dejar en caso de que sea necesario.En mi caso, el bote viene con fecha de caducidad de 2,5 años, por lo que tendremos tiempo de sobra para utilizarlas cuando las necesitemos. Solo tendremos que preocuparnos de cerrar la tapa del bote correctamente para evitar que se nos sequen antes de tiempo.

He usado varias veces productos de RainX para el coche, fundamentalmente aditivos para el lavaparabrisas y liquido de lavaparabrisas. Aunque suele ser mas caro que otras marcas, siempre repito porque los resultados son mucho mejores.Por eso cuando ví estas toallitas antivaho las pedí al momento. El bote es bastante compacto y facil de usar, consiste en tirar de la toallita del centro y van saliendo de forma secuencial.Las toallitas vienen empapadas en un producto que a golpe de nariz parece llevar bastante alcohol, y que una vez pasadas por el interior del cristal del coche, ayudan a limpiar el cristal y dejarlo impregnado de un producto que impide que se forme vaho.Como punto negativo diría que el cierre del bote es bastante malo (se sale con facilidad) y hay que estar atento a esto, ya que si se queda abierto y se evapora el producto en el que van impregnadas las toallitas, estas no servirán de nada.Añado que se me ha ocurrido la genial idea de aplicar el producto en la visera del casco de la moto, no lo recomiendo, no se evapora igual y deja resto en el plástico de la visera, por lo que empeora la visión, se vé que son toallitas orientadas únicamente a cristales.

The media could not be loaded.  Partimos de que Rain-X es una marca muy buena, por lo que teníamos claro que iba a cumplir su función.He de decir que nuestro pedido seguramente viniera de alguna devolución ya que nada más abrir ya se veía una toallita; según las instrucciones hay que quitar una tapita protectora antes (como las de la nocilla) de la cual carecía, no obstante, las toallitas que hay no estaban secas y han funcionado perfectamente.Para una luna delantera de un Ford C-Max con una sola toallita ha sido suficiente, debes pasarla por toda la luna haciendo círculos y verás que se queda el cristal sucio, tras esto debes limpiar esa suciedad con un paño seco, verás que se quita fácil, y listo.En nuestro caso nos cambiaron la luna hace unos meses y desde el cambio se empañaba bastante, hemos notado el cambio desde el principio, es más mi marido tiene claro que también lo va a usar para los cristales de los baños, por lo que los usos son infinitos: cualquier cristal que no quieras que se empañe.Buena cobertura, práctico y fácil, no se puede pedir más.

Estas toallas anti vaho son, en mi opinión, indispensables, especialmente durante el otoño e invierno.Quienes tienen un coche más antiguo como el mío (tengo un Ibiza del 2007) saben que el aire acondicionado no es muy eficiente. Vivo en una zona rural de Guadalajara y durante el otoño e invierno, en mi trayecto al trabajo, especialmente por las mañanas, se producen cambios rápidos de temperatura y humedad que empañan el parabrisas de tal manera que no puedo circular. Incluso con el aire acondicionado al máximo, el problema no desaparece fácilmente. En varias ocasiones me he visto obligado a detener el coche para limpiar los cristales con un trapo.No es la primera vez que uso este tipo de toallitas anti vaho y realmente ayudan mucho. Aplicadas correctamente, aproximadamente cada semana en el interior del parabrisas y en los cristales laterales delanteros, evitan la formación de vaho. De esta manera, se puede conducir de forma mucho más segura.El paquete de 40 toallitas es suficiente para varias aplicaciones. Además, viene en un recipiente bien sellado que, si se cierra correctamente, evita que las toallitas se sequen. Es una buena marca, con muschos producto para la limpieza dle coche.Sin duda, lo recomiendo a aquellos que tienen problemas con el vaho en el interior del parabrisas, notarán la diferencia.Gracias por leer mi reseña, espero que te resulte útil. 👍

Estas toallitas antivaho hacen perfectamente lo que indican. Las estoy usando en los espejos de los baños y desde entonces no se me empañan después de que pasemos por la ducha.Al aplicarlas dejan como un residuo por lo que hay que darle después con un paño seco y de esa manera ya se queda en el espejo la película antivaho.Tienen una caducidad de más de dos años por lo que seguramente las gastemos antes de que llegue esa fecha de caducidad. Con una sola toallita hemos podido dar a los espejos de los dos baños y el efecto nos está durando 3 semanas por ahora y sin que parezca que pierda efectividad.Quiero esperar a la temporada de otoño-invierno a ver qué tal se comportan cuando empiecen a empañarse las lunas delanteras de nuestros coches. Para entonces actualizaré para bien o para mal su efectividad.
