LG 8,000 Window Air Conditioner, 115V, 350 Sq.Ft. (14' x 25' Room Size), Quiet Operation, Electronic Control with Remote, 3 Cooling & Fan Speeds, Auto Restart, 8000 BTU, White

I have purchased 5 of these window units. I’ve placed them at various rental properties to get my tenants through this extreme heat we’re having in Georgia. Temps at 100 degrees. The central heat went out at two of the rentals. I placed one of these window units at each rental. They saved the day until a technician could come and repair one unit. It kept a 1000 sq foot mobile home in the mid 70’s, with outside temps at 95 to 100 degrees!! The other rental was a 1250 sq ft mobile. That central unit was toast and had to be replaced. This window unit kept the mobile home at a comfortable temp until a new central unit could be installed. I’m very impressed with LG and these 8000BTU window units. One other of the five units was placed in my 24x12 shed. I keep the other two for spares incase another rental unit goes out. You can’t beat the price or the performance of these AC units.

Product works great. Within an hour it had dropped my room temp from 81 to 73 degrees. Had it set on 68 for the initial set up. It’s heavy. But not more than expected. And I see a lot of comments on it being loud, it is not loud at all. I sleep so much better now that I have a cooler room. The directions include we’re not very straightforward but I also bought a brace bar for the back. I was able to set it all up with little trouble. I have it set to 70 and the room temp is about 71. It’s about a 300sft room and has only one working vent in the ceiling. 4 windows that get continuously Sun. So it’s battle a lot and it’s doing well. I definitely would recommend this product. It did come with a few dents but was prepared for that from previous reviews given. Overall. Good, working product. I’m happy.

Purchased last year - second year using and and its still working perfectly! Cooling an space larger than the specified space, currently 85 degrees outside and keeping the space 72 perfectly, Installation is typical of a unit like this - nothing out of the ordinary. Sound is typical of a window unit, not especially loud not extremely quiet either. Looks like any other unit - nothing stands out appearance wise

This came recommended by Wirecutter (I think). It's good but a bit noisy. I've only had it a couple months and already a red light indication the need to "clean filter" is on :/ I"m ignoring it but it's annoying. Cools my 500 square foot 2-room space well enough, so, for the price, I guess it's fine.

I brought this product June 2025 and used it during the summer it was working great with very cold air then this year July 2026 it stopped blowing out cold air. This Air Conditioner only last for one year.

this was easy to install Doesn’t consume a lot of energy well I mean, I don’t get a high life bill with this So far, no leakage My bedroom feels like I’m in the Arctic And that’s cause I want it like that And there is noise but it’s very minimal specially if you have it on F1 there is little to no noise I like to have it on F3 because I like the sound it’s like white noise makes me go to sleep

Awesome and runs quietly. No bad issues to report from me. This thing cranks out cold air. Seems more powerful than 8000 BTU. The heat and insane humidity here in Kentucky is pretty much like the Amazon Jungle. This LG unit is cooling about 800 square feet at my house. I’m tickled pink over this purchase. It’s no louder than a box fan during operations. Some a/c units have a loud compressor when they kick on. This one doesn’t do that! I’m amazed at how quiet it is and how cooling it is.
