Great whitening and stain removing powder. I always add a scoop into a load of my child's white school tops. This powder is great to remove stains and to ensure that you white clothes are not actually grayish.I do not use whitening powders on coloured clothes so not sure what effect it would have.From my experience in using.g this whitening powder, it is easy tonuse, tub lasts for some time if you use it as per directions. Good value for money.

I have a few white shirts that I wear fairly often, these are some of my favourite shirts that I've had for years at this point, and as you can imagine they'd started "fading" to a dull grey. I figured what would the harm be in trying to wash them with this? Well, this stuff actually 'revived' the whiteness of my shirts and brought them back to life. Granted, it wasn't a gleaming brand new white, but it was far better than before.Fortunately I don't have any stained clothing, but the fact that this stuff alone improved the white of my shirts, it has thoroughly impressed me. I am going to continue using this on my shirts in the hopes that it brings more life back to them, but I noticed an improvement after just one single wash.

This Save Earth UK Oxi Action Whitening & Stain Remover is certainly effective but I'd be very wary of using it with anything coloured that I wanted to maintain, it does seem to whiten more than it cleans, though it does both. I tried it with off-white bath towels and they came out bright and clean, but they went in fairly bright and fairly clean so maybe that's not such a surprise.I gave it a tougher test with a load of kitchen towels I'd carefully prepared with a range of (mostly organic) stains and marks - mostly coffee, wine and tomato-based. It did a very good job with those and they came out as clean as I've ever seen them, so result. I certainly appreciate that this ox-action cleaner is trying to avoid the nasties found in some rival products but it's still a bleach of sorts, so I'm not sure it's ever going to be harmless. If you have a regular need for it though then it's a worthwhile purchase, even if it's a bit pricey.

I ordered this product as I have a son who plays football and insists on wearing white socks!! I was hoping to find a product which would remove the stains effectively whilst not being too harsh on the environment. After football training in the rain last week, when my son had chosen to wear a white training top, I feared that it might well be ruined as I would never get the grass and mud stains off. I put a scoop of the stain removing powder in the main tub for the wash and put it on my usual 40 degree cycle. At first I thought we had no chance but after the wash and drying the top on the line it is as good as new!! Although the socks are likely to take a few more washes I am hopeful that using this product regularly in my washes will prolong the life of our clothing. Very happy with this item and will definitely be buying a tub again in the future.

A container with 600g of stain removal/whitening/brightening powder plus scoop. Easy to use, full instructions on the side of the container. I was a little worried about using it with coloured clothes as it mentions "whitening" multiple times (which is great for white items, not so great for anything else!). I tried it with both light coloured clothes - one of which was a rather expensive hoodie that I'd managed to drip marinade on, and white bedding (especially a pillow and pillow case my husband makes disgusting by sweating on).The light coloured came out really well .. the white t-shirts with deep coloured patterns seemed to come out bright but without any reduction in the deepness of the patterns.The whites also came out well - although some of the stains were a little more ingrained they had either disappeared completely or, in very minor locations, faded to almost nothing.Overall .. very impressed, however, it is rather pricy and there are cheaper options out there.

I used this product in a wash of mostly whites, although a couple of paler-coloured items and including a shower curtain.I use Costco's Kirkland brand washing powder, which is already quite good. I added a scoop of this as per the instructions (a scoop is included).The wash came out OK, but not perfect and certainly nothing that made me confident the product had worked. I suspect it was slightly better, but it's very difficult to tell without doing some sort of comparison wash.There was no problem mixing coloured items with whites.

This product is great for a whites wash, I haven’t tested it on dark or coloured clothing to be safe.My shirts were looking pearly white, all I had to do was add a scoop to the washing and wash as normal.The brand advertises as being eco friendly-packaging is recyclable ocean-reclaimed plastic-vegan formula- not tested on animalsI think that having these values makes it good value for money as this should be the priority for all brands
