The Little Prince Hourglass Building Blocks Set Construct, Create, Play Building Kit for Adults Home and Office

During my recovery from hip surgery, I found solace in the Little Prince Building Block Set. This unique set, housed in a vibrant, full-color box, is divided into 4 phases. The first phase requires only the #1 bags, making the building process manageable. I love that you don’t have to open unnecessary bags at weird intervals, increasing your chance of losing pieces. The comprehensive, full-color, glossy instruction manual is a helpful companion.The design of this brick sculpture, or rather, this intricate project, is a testament to the thoughtful and creative approach behind it. The layers of bricks, meticulously designed and cut with precision, fit together seamlessly, creating a stunning and durable structure.The set does come with a little pink brick removal tool. To be honest, I got a flat stuck on a flat. The tool did not work, and I had to resort to sliding a fingernail underneath and trying to pry it up. I am not a smart woman because I got frustrated and ripped up three fingernails trying to pry up that piece. I wish the end of the brick removal tool were just a hair thinner so I could slide in between the most stubborn of bricks.Each phase took me about 1-1.5 hours to build solo with no “backseat drivers” helping out. The instructions were on par with the best of them, clear and concise, with bright, crisp images with clear designations as to where each piece goes and how it is oriented. It made the process feel that much more intuitive.Like any of the “fancier” building block sets, it stays together quite well once fully assembled, but it’s going to be somewhat fragile no matter what, so you’ll want to find a nice level area to keep this beautiful piece of Little Prince art. So, if you grew up reading the book and are a fan, this quality set faithfully captures the magic and beauty of the source material and embellishes any space in which you display it, not to mention the fun you’ll have putting it together.Final note: Some phases of the project involve a lot of tiny pieces. Do keep an eye out and ensure the surface around you has “bumpers” because some of the pieces are round and tiny and love to roll off tables. I also think tiny fingers will have difficulty fitting together some of the tiny components, so keep that in mind if you want to attempt this set with a younger child.

I've never been a huge fan of building block sets – too often they feel like the same old thing. But this Little Prince hourglass is completely different! It brings a beloved childhood story to life as you build it.The whole design is incredibly creative, featuring little scenes from the book. The Little Prince stands among the stars at the top, there's a gorgeous flower in the middle, and a touching moment with the Fox at the bottom.The details are amazing! They used gold accents on the blocks and special stickers for a beautiful finish. The pieces feel high-quality, and once it's built, this hourglass is definitely something you'd treasure and want to pass down.It's the perfect gift for anyone who loves The Little Prince and enjoys a hands-on project that creates something meaningful.

Was a gift for a friend and they loved it! Super high quality, not like some awful off brand lego builds. This thing is great.

This is my first time doing anything Lego or Lego adjacent and it was a wonderful experience. It’s simply beautiful and the instructions were easy to follow. Everything was well made. There were some pieces that wouldn’t cooperate but overall it’s was nice. If you are a book person please pick it up. It’s worth the price.

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately it is very hard to put together in spots. It requires a lot of force to connect certain pieces, while others barely hold together and fall apart and the lightest touch.

It was a joint effort for the girls to get it together but it is gorgeous. Great to display. Looks just like the picture. Colors are bright and pretty. Very nice.

First I haven’t built this item yet but I am very much looking forward to it. They do not give the piece count but I would estimate it to be at least 1000. These are a block build and the instructions are in English and Chinese. The pictures are very clear so it will be easy to follow. This is not for very young kids and I would say at least 8 years old and older. Honestly I am an adult and this is going to be a fun build for me. I will update this review with picks when finished. I recommend this for anyone who loves crafts and building things.
