I love these risers. They've been a big help as I set up my lava lamp displays in the house. I tend to operate by the rule of three in decorating: 1 big, 1 medium, 1 small, and since lava lamps only come in a few standard size, a little extra height is necessary to make a nice tableau. Another things I really appreciate about these risers is their sturdiness. I've got a set of acrylic risers that I use at work, but they are long a narrow, or square, but smaller and only have two legs. I tried putting a lava lamp on top of one. It held, but you tell it was straining and bowing a little bit. So I when I got these, I could really appreciate the extra sturdiness of the open-box riser - four points of contact instead of two.Now you can use these risers for almost anything (lava lamps are a testament to that), but the the white acrylic would make for a lovely tables cape at a wedding, family or holiday get-together. As I said, sturdy. The white acrylic is pretty, fancy, but without overwhelming the table. The boxes are large enough that you can place a dish and still have room decorate around them. The acrylic also makes them easy to wipe or clean up.With the opening facing out, you can even use them as a light box for photographing smaller items. Just a thought.

We used several of these in conjunction with some others to stage a long dessert table for our daughter's graduation party. They are lightweight, add dimension and clean up easily. I removed one star only because they did have a fairly strong odor out of the packaging, which required airing them out for a while.

I'm pretty obsessed with risers. They boost up my displays and give me extra table space. And considering the cost of tables sometimes, that extra space is pure gold.These are varying sizes and heights, and the two largest worked really well for me to use as risers for tall, skinny stands that held metal keychains, and spun. The stands had felt bits on the bottom and they didn't budge at all while in use during a craft show with over 1,200 transactions at my table alone. The risers were wide enough that the keychains stands stood in the middle of the two largest, with space on the sides to put in a few extras on the stand to dress it up a bit.The smaller stands, I used on a pop open bookshelf to raise up some collectible figures and make them more visible. And surprise, that worked really great! They stayed in place on the metal and everything worked out really well for me.These don't feel heavy duty, as they are thin plastic, but they really held up well. I didn't put a bowling ball on them, but they did well with my keychain stands and those had metal charms on metal rings with chain on them, so these will hold a bit of weight when needed. They held my stands for 3 days straight and felt just as sturdy when I packed them up. I like that they fit inside each other, as that saves space, and I like that there's a bit of space on the inside of them to store merch. I packed in quite a bit in the one box and it really helped with making everything fit in the car, lol.The white is excellent, since it can be customized. I can add decal or use stencils and airbrush. I haven't decided which I will do, but I will be putting my store's Instagram QR code on these stands. The white looks means that these can be turned into anything. They're a blank slate or they can be used as is.I would buy again. I don't need more now, but maybe when I expand my booth after a few more successful shows. I can confidently recommend these for vendors to use at craft tables, and for lightweight items, such as dessert displays at events. Or just to make display shelves of collectibles at home look nicer by adding height variation.
