These scissors work very well. Sharp and accurate. For my purposes, which is mostly just cutting paper, thread/string, gauze, and mustache/beard trimming, I'm not going to spend a lot on scissors and these hit a perfect balance between price and quality. I also love the color - makes them easy to spot in my desk drawer among other small tools I keep there that I use on a regular basis.I don't know about lab work, but I suspect they'd be just fine for a student. And for crafts they're certainly superior to typical paper scissors. I also bought a pair in black for my wife which she loves for tonsorial work like defining eyebrows and snipping split-ends.

Holes for fingers are a bit small but sharp and do the job all the time.

These are some nice mid level sharp scissors. I don't know if they're worth a flip for whatever their medical use, but for my general needs for sharp scissors, they are great. The blue tone is kind of neat, helps me spot these easily.

These seem to be excellent quality. They are sharp with good set and sturdy. So far they meet my needs. I would and may buy another set. They are also reasonably priced.
