Fortress Security Store (TM) Panic Button for S02 or GSM Home Alarm Security System

A well made accessory to my GSM alarm system. Does everything it claims, can be set up to trigger the alarm whether armed or disarmed. Very useful and gives that extra peace of mind. Care when mounting as room is needed for a screwdriver at the bottom for battery replacement. Once stuck - it's stuck!! Highly recommended. Used with GSM Home Alarm.

Great product with a BIG BUT: while the machine retains all setup anytime the battery power is completely drained, which is great BUT it doesn’t retain date & time settings.So you have to do with the noise and having to reset the date & time every time. An internal time keeping Battery will solve this important problem!

Good system. Installed it myself. Had to buy more sensors when I decided to extend the system. Found buying a complete smaller set of sensors, siren and control box was as cheap as the few new sensors I required.Had a break in, which was why I extended the system to one of the windows that did not have an alarm on it, and all doors and windows in my house I had not previously done. I have a PIR in my summer house which is 150 feet away from my house and the sensor unit three walls away from the garden, But the unit still gets a signal from the PIR.As I say I had a break-in, but I did not buy the alarm after the break-in, but extended it after the break-in, the alarm system; one siren/strobe outside, one ear breaking siren inside doing a fine job and seeing off the intruder without damage or theft.Glad I brought it!Sales of cheaper priced sensors for this unit can not be brought outside of America.The manual is a bit upside down at present as the company has changed one or two things about, but these are improvements to the units and procedures and can be worked through.PIR's are powered by PP9 batteries, which are no problem to get. The sensors are powered by Number 23 batteries, which you will not be able to get out of the shops. Ebay is where I found mine at a good price. Amazon do them but they come out dearer. Try and balance how many you might need and how flat they will get whilst not being used as to what is the cheapest quantity to buy. The sensor batteries last about a year. Some units I have changed twice possibly three times, some units are still going strong.The sensors you stick on with a sticky pad, the magnet with a sticky pad and a couple of screws if you wish.Having survived one break-in I'm more than happy.

I wish I could give it 0 stars.The system became faulty shortly after I installed it; sensors not working or setting the alarm off for no apparent reason on the middle of the night.After spendingtoo much time and effort (phone calls/e-mail) with one of their staff, they sent me 2 replacement sensors. I thought that had resolved it but now I realise these sensors aren't working either (with fresh batteries).Understandably, I can't risk my family's safety with this product so I'm going to have to replace it.

Works well indoors, but no signal out outside of wall. Which kind of defeats the object.Will have to buy a wifi extender

They stick well and we haven't been broken in to. Not much more to say really!

Small, so it doesn't look ugly, when fixed to the wall, but visible, and big enough, for any intruder to see. Good sturdy product.
