I bought this 2‑pack of WYNEX shoulder strap pads specifically to use as hip padding on my range belt, not for a vest or backpack — and honestly, they work better than expected. The padding is dense and long enough to take pressure off the iliac crest, and once wrapped around the belt they stay put without shifting. Even though they’re designed for backpack or vest straps, the hook‑and‑loop channel wraps securely around a belt and doesn’t interfere with holsters, mag carriers, or movement. I only had to skip one belt loop on each side to mount them, they are easy to attach and they still sit flat without causing any issues. Comfort‑wise, these made an immediate difference. No more hotspots, no more belt bite, and the belt rides more stable overall. The stitching is clean, the padding has just enough give, and the color blends in with tactical gear without looking out of place. If you need a budget‑friendly way to add comfort to a duty or range belt — or want extra padding on a vest or pack — these are a solid, versatile option.

These things are so comfortable. I got it for my weighted vest and it's a game changer. Cheap but effective.

Straps are comfortable, a bit narrow so if your tactical vest/carrier has wide straps, be prepared to have to adjust the fit of these over the top. Good use of Molle attachment points. I hang my badge holder, radio clip, and prox cards from them while on-duty.

Extremely good and precise quality and extremely comfortable even with the heaviest of loads... Don't buy garbage from others purchase it directly from this person that actually does a good job and making a proper product that fits universally and is good for work...

When I first received this shoulder pads, my first impression was “these are too big” for my minimalist chest rig. My opinion of them changed once I was able to affix the pads to my left and right shoulder harness straps. I was wanting something to give extra padding for my chest rig due to the added weight with four 30 round AR mags, 4 pistol mags, and other various gear to include an IFAK filled with lifesaving devices. These pads made a big difference and now the shoulder straps don’t dig in with the weight. It also feels like it’s added some stability to the rig but, I don’t know if it will hold up to the elements or rough treatment if I was in a running and gunning situation. Though the stitching and material seem to be of good quality so I’m hopeful they won’t just disintegrate if I use them for a long period. Overall I like the pads and the price is reasonable. I only gave it 4 stars because, like I mentioned, I don’t know how well it would hold up but, like any piece of gear, it “depends” on the situation and environment you’re in.

I picked these up to use on my tactical vest carrier and they seemed fine at first, the padding felt decent enough out of the package and they attached okay initially so I thought they’d do the job. The problem showed up pretty quickly after just a few uses, the velcro started losing its grip and stopped holding the way it should, which is a pretty big issue when you need something to stay securely in place on a vest carrier. Once the velcro goes on something like this the whole thing becomes basically useless because the pads just shift around or come loose instead of staying put where you need them. For something marketed as tactical gear I expected a lot more durability, velcro giving out after minimal use is not something you want to deal with especially if you’re using this for anything serious or active. The padding itself wasn’t anything impressive either, just okay at best, but the velcro failure is really what makes this a hard pass for me. I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re looking for something that will actually hold up with regular use on a tactical vest, there are better options out there that won’t let you down this fast.

I should have got these sooner. I rock steel 3A+ plates from Tacitcon Armament, got an insane deal for plates and rig but they had a shoulder retainer but no pad. I've been wearing the vest when i work on my yard and when i do cardio and the weight of steel slowly wears down on your shoulders and digs in. NOT WITH THESE BAD BOYS! I could sleep in my kit easily now. It went from my shoulders burning in 4 to 6 hours to needing probably a good 2 days of constant rough wear to bite in significantly. From the pictures i feared it would be too small to wrap around my shoulder pads but when you get them they are much bigger than the picture, they don't slide around at all they are very secure. The only thing is the black pad part is not as soft as you'd think, but you can probably lotion or wear it to the point where it softens up but upon getting them right away they are fairly rough but it makes them secure better it's fine. The surface area that it rests on your shoulders is a significant difference. 20/10 for the price.

bought these because the 30lb vest I bought was designed poorly and did not have shoulder pads. these are perfect to cushion the weight. very well made and appear durable. The velcro is the strongest I have ever seen.

Life saver for my job plate carrier

Es muss ja nicht immer ein Rucksack sein. Wir hatten einen Umzug ins 4. OG ohne Fahrstuhl zu bewältigen. Da meine Schwachstelle die Arme sind, hatte ich die Idee, das Gewicht der Kisten/Boxen/Kartons auch auf meine Schultern zu verteilen. Diese beiden Polster und ein Spanngurt - tadaa! Irgendwann hat mein Liebster sie sogar geklaut, weil er auch etwas Entlastung wollte. Auch im Nachhinein jetzt sehr praktisch, wenn z.B. Mal eine schwere Einkaufstasche nach oben muss, deren Riemen sonst ja gerne einschneiden. Der Klettverschluss hält Bombe und das Polster dämpft angenehm und verteilt den Druck. Klare Empfehlung!
