This shelf is very easy to assemble and provides lots of storage. It's light and easy to move when empty, but has no casters for rolling/moving when loaded up. Shelves are not adjustable but the unit provides good usable storage. The shelves do sag a bit at the center if heavier objects are placed there, so load accordingly. Overall it's a good unit that should last a long time.

I absolutely love the CX Black & Yellow® 4-Tier Heavy Duty Plastic Storage Shelving Unit! This shelving unit has exceeded my expectations in both functionality and design. With a robust capacity of 200 lbs per shelf, it provides more than enough strength to hold all of my tools, supplies, and storage bins securely.The heavy-duty plastic construction is not only incredibly durable but also lightweight, making it easy to move and set up. The parts appear flimsy until you assemble them. As you put the parts together, it becomes very sturdy and can handle a lot of weight easily. Somewhat slower process to assemble than most shelves but still very easy.

Pros: sturdy, easy to put together, even without instructions (although some of the smaller pieces confused me at first).Cons: Note that this shelving unit will ONLY fit 27-gallon totes of the same brand. They will NOT fit the GreenWorks totes you can buy at Costco, which are virtually identical (black and yellow) to CX ones. I'm sure this was a completely intentional move for the brand to get you to overpay for the totes of their same brand.If you have a bunch of GreenWorks totes, I do not recommend you buy these shelves and instead get something with slightly taller shelves. Seriously, they're like 1" away from fitting, which is frustrating and doesn't leave me with a sense of satisfaction here.

Seriously, I returned 3 sets of shelves because they were either (1) difficult to assemble, with lots and lots of plastic pieces that usually did not fit together the way the instructions said they would, (2) had very skinny support poles, so the unit would wobble easily, (3) or arrived with broken or missing pieces. The Black & Yellow shelves, however, are nearly perfect: brilliant design and manufacturing. Took me maybe 20 minutes to assemble (and I have a tendency to screw everything up in ways manufacturers never dreamed of), because the pieces are designed and manufactured to be completely symmetrical. There are no "left" pieces, no "right" pieces, no "bottom shelf" pieces - you cannot mess up the assembly, as long as you (1) insert the yellow side pieces first (these hold the poles in place), (2) put the feet on the bottom shelf, and (3) have a rubber mallet handy, and maybe a metal file to smooth out any burrs left on the plastic pieces. My only disappointment is the shelves could be a few inches taller, but that would make the whole unit taller, and anyway the specs said shelf height is 14.5", and it is. The only practical way to make the shelves taller would require the poles to be a few inches taller, and that would impact the stability of the unit. But these are minor quibbles. Ridiculously easy to assemble, sturdy, and looks great - what's not to like? Highly recommended!

I needed more garage storage and this was perfect. I liked the option of different configurations even though I didn’t use that option, just full vertical. It would be nice if the company had an option for one additional shelf for the lateral configuration. Very happy and perfect for garage storage, sturdy and easy to put together, but because it does offer lateral configuration the yellow pieces are one step extra compared to many others, but easy assembly. Pricing is better that local purchase. If I needed more I’d definitely get more of these, as they are a great price delivered to your house, with Amazon, and less costly than similar size shelving than local hardware or large “big box” retail stores. Highly recommend.

This as easy to put together when I placed the yellow parts correctly. Very sturdy. I bought 2 and buying 2 more.

These worked great to complement the needs for the storage unit I have for extra items, such as various holiday decorations. So, overall, it's a great option for many things like that. However, there are a few things people should be mindful of:1) The shelves do not appear to be adjustable in any way. I didn't expect that to be the case, but given the height between shelves, I ran into a number of instances where a box or tote was an inch or two too high to fit.2) The material in question means this likely will not last a great deal of time if the weight capacity is approached. I had about 60 lbs of items on a shelf, putting the heavier items to the ends for support and still, I noticed a bowing effect in the middle. This occurred a few times when adding in these shelves for use in my storage unit.3) Assembly is simple enough, however, please be mindful to wear gloves if you're assembling multiple units due to the material at play and how they arrive in shipment. Upon taking apart each shelf from the box, you'll also then be presented with many pieces that are then attached to one another with another plastic piece. So, unless you have tools or gloves to utilize, it's a lot of sharp contact points on the hands and fingers to make putting multiple units of these together a trying experience.
