It's a pretty light but will not hang straight.

Nice, But Not For Me
I ordered this on a whim and realized almost immediately afterwards it wasn't what I wanted. Don't get me wrong, the light itself is nice. It comes with all the parts separate so you do have to assemble it but it isn't hard (just a bit tedious). The base, frame and chain are black, while the "drum" is made of warped (intentionally) glass panels. It has a cool effect and it looks nice but it doesn't really work for what I needed. I didn't realize that it was smaller than I what I needed (my fault) or that the lightbulbs I had wouldn't work. Again, this is my fault. If you read the description more carefully than I did and this is what you want, I anticipate you'll be pleased with it.

Glass will not clean
We love this light, but the glass panels have a coating that will not clean without streaks and film.

I am so happy with this light fixture. It's tasteful and looks high end quality. Easy to install, basic replacement of old fixture so no surprises. The glass itself is a mottled, wavy glass that looks vintage. Good price for this quality. 5 stars.

Gives a good amount of light off
I chose this hanging light as other lights in my kitchen had the clear glass look but wanted something a little more stylish. This light was easy to install and really looks good in the space. The chain can adjusted to the height needed. It did hang unbalanced at first, but after adjusting the chain, it hung straight.
