I'm not a fan of popular energy drinks, I prefer coffee or tea. But I'm always agreeable to try something that is different, especially if it is in the form of a fruity drink.These VERSA Mandarin Orange Mango Carbonated, sugar free energy drinks definitely caught my eye. They contain 125mg of caffeine in 12oz, which is just about equivale to coffee which has about 95mg of caffeine per cup. I was excited for an alternative way to get an energy boost through the day!I opened a chilled can and immediately smelled the fresh fruity aroma of orange! First taste was WOW! It was a fresh, fruity and flavorful mouthful! The addition of the carbonation made it even more light and refreshing. The energy boost was mild without jitters.The price for a case of 12 is pretty reasonable, so it won't make me feel guilty about getting these for another caffeine alternative.

I am not a big fan of traditional energy drinks, but this one actually tastes good. The mandarin is super strong when you take a sip, but the aftertaste is more of the mango flavor. It definitely does the job; I feel more awake and alert. The reason why I gave it four starts and not five, is the packaging. The packaging is super cheap. The plastic around the lip crumbles, and I am worried that I may be consuming plastic particles if I drink straight from the can. The other issue I have is that the can is super sensitive to cold temperatures. I like when the drinks are cold, however, they deform quite easily in the fridge, especially at the bottom. This is more of an annoyance, but it makes it so that it isn't so stable when setting in down. If these issues are fixed, I would 100% order them again.

These are great for a sugar free way to get a bit more energy in the middle of the day.The orange/mango flavor is great, and the fizz and sweetness was perfect. It didn't taste like a can of artificial sweetener either, which was unexpected.I'll keep these in the fridge for a while.

I like all things cherry, especially if they're naturally flavored, so I jumped at the chance to try these.Overall the cherry flavor did have a bit of an artificial aftertaste, but nothing unusual for a low-sugar energy drink. But when chilled I did not find it objectionable - I've had mainstream drinks that tasted horrible by comparison. Good mood / energy lift with minimal crash, and they appear to be a good value for the money. Give them a try if you're looking for something a bit different.
