L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference Mousse Absolue, 556 Medium Mahogany Brown by L'Oreal Paris

I've been using this product for a few years now. Love it, gives me gorgeous color, near my own natural color (if Mother Nature would just leave my hair alone!) and generally happy with it. Easy to use, especially if you've colored your hair before, and the smell is okay-ish. The conditioner is MARVELOUS and will last for a week after you've colored---I use the whole portion at once because my hair is a bit longish and like it better than spitting it into two times. Anyway, my beef is sometimes the color won't come out, despite shaking it vigorously as advised. I wasted THREE boxes yesterday because the color wouldn't mix with the foam (mousse). The fourth was the charm and my hair is as pretty as pretty can be. I just purchase more because this color is not plenty-ous. Don't know if they aren't making this color and I got an old batch but SHAKE IT BABY and you should be fine.

This product should be taken off the market. Exploded all over my bathroom. Never seen anything like this in my life.

I love this brand of hair dye. I've been using it since it come out, usually buy from Walmart. But I found it here on Amazon & it was half the price. I was thrilled they have the color I use, but the best thing about this brand is that it's reusable. What you don't use, you just put the cap on & put it away...in a few weeks when you need your roots touched up...there it is ready. You actually get to use all of what you pay for. Awesome!!

I've bought this product from a store and was very happy with it. I'm not sure if the product or packaging has changed, but the item I received from Amazon did not dispense much of the color no matter how much I shook. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong so I tried it again with the results. After reading some other reviews, I'm thinking I received a defective product.

This product was damaged. The foam didn’t come out at the beginning. Then I saw it had some gelatin-like discharge that had dried up. When the foam finally came out it was white and there was a bit of rusty color substance that came out too. Not the red one that I’ve seen before. They definitely sent a faulty or expired product and they do not accept returns or refunds
