I waited 6 months to write a review for this to make sure I'd given enough time to see the full effects and I'm happy to say this has become a non-negotiable staple in my skin care routine. I no longer get the monthly cycle-related or sporadic dietary induced breakouts that I used to. I am black so I get hyperpigmantation when my spots heal, and although they have not disappeared, this product has made the spots less pigmented. I can't comment on reducing redness as I do not suffer from this. I find it to be quite gentle on my skin - it doesn't cause burning or irritation. I use it with the acnecide 5% benzylperoxide face wash and the results are great - my skin is smooth, taught and hydrated. I would highly recommend.

Gentle and effective, but not miraculous
Gentle, spreads well, and very good value. It has improved skin tone and has proved effective at preventing and calming breakouts, but you shouldn't expect the results to appear quickly or be transformative.

Perioral dermatitis
Alot of people had suggested Azelaic acid for perioral dermatitis so I tried it.It was quite stingy and did not help at all.

well does it, ish does not take redness away, but it did reduce redness, only used on small area so tube big enough, if you were to do your whole face cream would run out quick

So far so good!
So far so good, really quite impressed with this cream and how quickly it has seemed to improve my skin. Spots - especially the hard, lumpy ones with no head - are going down so much quicker and with hardly any red mark left behind. Old marks are fading and skin looks much calmer. Cream is nice and smooth and a little really does go a long way. It seems to suit my skin really well and has not made it dry or flaky yet. Been using for about a week so far. Really happy.
