Viridian CTL Weapon Light

Very bright, comes with a power supply pack(battery) to help keep the light charged. Excellent fit.

This fits the new Taurus gx2 perfectly. It’s very bright and it charges quickly. Buttons are nice. For the price it s features exceed the price point .

I like it a lot. It’s light and compact. The magnetic charge is easily attached. Viridian also provided a link to order the holster that will work with this. You can charge the light while it’s holstered. Came with a portable charger which is nice.The only gripe I had is mine came with the box already opened. The seals have been cut. The box that held the portable charger is ripped. I checked the light and there no scratches on it. I’m still keeping it but this did annoy me a little bit.

Says it’s a laser but it’s not that’s a main reason why I got it it’s only a flashlight

This is not the first CTL model I have experience with. But for some reason, the seller here on Amazon does not fully describe the product accurately. The lumen output reaches 140 only when using strobe mode, while the brightest constant-on lumen output is 100. This is not a deal-killer. I very much enjoy this weapon light and I rather like the lower lumen output of 100 for a very good reason: this is a fairly compact weapon light and is well suited for a concealed self defense weapon. If the scenario involved a home invasion at night and there was a need to perform room clearing tactics, the 100 lumens serves well to not blind me as it reflects back to my eyes off the white walls. If the scenario involved an outdoor self defense situation where I draw from concealed, if the subject were further than 25 meters from me, I would simply run away; any closer and the low power light would be effective at identifying the target and the instant-on feature would be nice so I don’t need to fumble with any buttons or switches. If this were used with a full size duty weapon, I would not use this light.

Fit on a Walther P99C perfectly. Plenty bright indoors across two rooms. Bright outdoors for about 30 feet. Visible light out about 50 feet. Much brighter than what I saw in a video comparison review. Turns off and on easily but with a positive feel to the button push. Goes from constant to strobe and back to constant without any funny business. As others have said about this and other similar lights, be gentle when you unscrew the cover to the battery compartment or you may strip the threads. Fully met my expectations and maybe a little more.
