RUGCEL WINCH Portable Winch 12V DC Electric Utility Winch,4500lb/2041kg Single Line Pull with Steel Mounting Plate, Integrated Hawse Fairlead and Synthetic Rope,Infrared Remote Control,ATV utv Winch

After comparing several portable winches in the same category, I chose the RUGCEL 4500LB. It offers a well-balanced combination of price, features, and build quality, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Its biggest advantage is that it doesn’t require permanent installation—just store it in the trunk and take it out whenever needed. This makes it ideal for ATVs, UTVs, boat trailers, and equipment towing. The winch is housed in a durable toolbox, which makes carrying and storage very convenient. The synthetic rope runs smoothly with plenty of pulling power, fully meeting everyday towing needs in real-world use. The accessories are comprehensive, so it’s essentially ready to use right out of the box. Both the wired and wireless remote controls work very well, are easy to operate, and provide a strong sense of safety. Overall, this is a highly practical and reliable portable winch.

I dont understand the bad reviews. I've used it twice to pull a pretty heavy boat of a car and it worked great. Only thing im not a huge fan of is the terminals but overall its pretty awesome.

This is a fantastic winch in a box! Everything you need is set up in this custom case to carry wherever you need it. I power ours with a Milwaukee tool battery and adapter. If you want s simple, organized, compact and powerful winch pick this one. Note: you can power this off a vehicle battery too.

Love this winch! Works anywhere you have a battery. I used it off my lawn mower battery and off my battery charger box. Worth the value if it continues as it started. Lost a star because I had to improvise the design of the box. Current design you would have to connect cables from outside the box which meant cables had to be stored outside the box. One review suggested I relocate cables on poles inside box, but that created a bigger problem; when using you could not close the box. I simply made a notch to lip of box allowing me to store cables inside, but still connecting them to outside allowing lid to close while using it. Cable length was fine. Any longer wouldn’t fit in box. Wireless remote works fine over 50 ft away. Installation gave you several options for setting it up. I would buy it again.

I bought this mainly as a portable recovery option and it honestly exceeded expectations. The whole setup is well thought out — having the winch mounted in a toolbox with straps, shackles, and remotes makes it easy to store and deploy without permanently installing anything on the vehicle. The 4,500-lb pulling capacity paired with the synthetic rope is strong enough for my UTV tasks, and the wired and infrared remote options make it flexible depending on the situation. What really impressed me is how practical it is. Instead of committing to a bumper-mounted winch, you can throw this in a truck bed or SUV and use it for multiple jobs — like getting something unstuck. The steel mounting plate and included recovery gear make it feel like a complete kit rather than just a bare winch. Overall, for a portable system it offers a great balance of convenience, pulling power, and versatility. If you want a winch you can use across different vehicles or projects without a permanent install, this is a surprisingly solid option.

The drum broke on first day and amazon refused to send replacement so i have to wait 30+ days for a return/refund process from seller before i can reorder a better winch; at this rate i will not try to reorder again as this was my third attempt at getting a winch from amazon that isn't too heavy/portable and works. I have explained to them i cannot wait that long as i had to wait over a month already for this one, and i need it for logging work. In the end it will be months of waiting for a return/replacement just to get a working winch, and I will not be ordering from amazon anymore after this; other than dumping my gift balance then closing my account.

Strong portable nice

Talk about neat. This is a way better option than using a hand crank come along. not a fan of the wireless remote, the wired is more responsive and trustworthy. You will need to provide an auxiliary battery for power, but it will even gator clip onto a car battery if needed.

Kit complet, usage simple.

Buena atencion i buen producto. Gràcias

This winch was my top choice for a high quality portable winch that I thought would be able to connect to my 12V plug in the back of my SUV so that I could lift and lower my wheelchair to and from my car. I realized too late that the draw from the winch in operation would damage my car electrical circuit if I attempted to use it. Oop😳. No sooner than I had confirmed this and the winch had arrived at my door after only 1 day! I immediately requested a return which was approved although, of course I had to pay the $70 cost to return. I was impressed with all my dealings on the purchase and return of this item. Would recommend to anyone - doing business here was straightforward, timely and clear.

Well this is one item that did arrive and early. Have seen in use on YouTube. So was interested. Ideal for occasional use and actually can be used for other non vehicle rescue. Just need 12V battery.

Sehr gutes Produkt, und da steckt ein Haufen Kraft dahinter einfach nur top
