Great product, I had to return because I bought the wrong one but it was certainly well made.

Bought 4 of these to lock up the generators on an old fire command post they are really close to the same size as the original but maybe 4-5 mm narrower top to bottom so some drilling was necessary to widen the old mounting holes to get them to line up but worth it the latches work smoothly and all 4 were keyed the same definitely worth the price

Lock boxes for Jeeps with no lockable storage space. I’ve used several but this one needed a shot of spray silicone lube to feel perfect. Not really necessary, I’m just picky. Lock is replaceable if you want to key alike or use the more secure round keys.

Wish this item was as well made as the original that came with the horse trailer 25 years ago.This one is made from extremely thin metal, latch may last 2-4 years. Original latch lasted 25 years and almost 100k uses by adults and kids opening and closing tack room door.Not sure this one will last a tenth of that many years.

first of all i love the product. It's well made and looks great. BUT...I used it to replace a sticky door handle on my pop up camper. The issue is mostly that it's made for very thin doors. Even my camper door, which is extremely thin (i think under 20mm) was already too thick. The latching part just has nothing to latch on to unless you get really creative and add some hardware, and even then it's really tricky. See pictures showing how much space you get on the other side for the lock to grab onto the door frame . I made it work but it was so-so. Another few mm of the door / wall thickness and it wouldn't have worked at all.Also it's not suitable for RVs for two other reasons. The inside part is not made pretty, it's got the raw mechanism exposed and it also can't be locked from the inside. When you are in your camper, anyone can open the door from outside because lock is only from outside. At least it has a way to add your own inside handle (there is a thread that fits a screw, but no handle comes with it) to open the unlocked latch from inside, so that's the bare minimum needed to get it to work with RVs.overall still 5 stars, just be aware this is not really designed for RVs or livable spaces and it doesn't fit doors thicker than 20mm.
