Water the plant, sprinkle the dry fertilizer around the plant according to the package directions, then water again. The fertilizer does not burn the bougainvillea even if it is in a small pot, and the green growth and flowers are beautiful. Large and green foliage and larger and deeper color flowers. Since I live in the desert where the heat is up to 114 degrees to 118 degrees, I water the plants every day.

Yes, this would be the same as applying to potted Bouganvillea. Just spread Bogain on the surface of the basket and water as you normally do. Not knowing the size of the basket can't give you an amount to use, just follow the directions

Starting in Spring use bi-weekly then towards mid to late summer I use once monthly. But my Bougv is a mature tree In a Bonsai pot.
