Great for software development!
This is pricier than a lot of other models. I chose this one because it has a brand name I trust and the high resolution. I use it for software development mainly. I can run VSCode on this monitor and with my old eyes and reading glasses works as well as I could hope for. I hook the laptop power connector to the external monitor, then use a thunderbolt cable from the screen to laptop to power my computer and display video. It has an HDMI connector too.

Road warrior portable monitor
Road warrior grade second monitor; super high resolution, light weight, easy to hook up, and easy to pack & carry. I drop it into my backpack with my laptop in the same padded spot. Gives me a full two screen portable office. Power and video signal run over the same USB-C cable, so i only need one power outlet (or none if I want to run the laptop off battery). Love love love this monitor.

Nice matrix but issues maintaining a stable signal
I bought 3 and returned 2, so that shall tell you something. Overall, they have some weird issue with the signal, and some apps have a very weird colour saturation level on this display. And support was kinda useless. And sometimes it just turns itself off for a moment, which may be due to high temperature of the internals (because it heats quite a lot for that size) .
