After trying another product this tape stuck better. It sticks so well I had to be careful what it touched! It is amazing how it remains no matter the temperature or humidity. It used this to seal together faced insulation that had to be spliced or trimmed.

This looks like it will do the job, it is very sticky and should hold up well.As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale:Most things will start at 4 stars.It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding.It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality.One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.

Very easy to install, blends well with the garage door insulation. Waiting to see how it holds up in the unheated garage through a PA winter.

Works great for holding insulation together.

Not sure if the tape adhesive was any good?It would not hold to the insulation backing.

This tape is thick, strong, waterproof and very durable. You'll need scissors or a knife to cut it. It will not tear no matter how hard you try to rip it apart. This stuff is better then even the most premium quality duct tape. The uses are endless for such and excellent quality tape. We ordered this to seal seams between sheets of coraplast & polycarbonate wind barrier we installed around our chicken run to block wind during the winter. I thought it would be just some fancy duct tape. Nope. This stuff is awesome! Best tape I've ever used. Its flexable yet extreemly strong with an exceptional adhesive.You should consider the potential for removal before applying if removal may be necessary. I'm sure after its been applied and in place for a time, it will not come off without significant effort. This is the real deal, permanent weatherproof tape.For us, the use of duct tape (which has always been our go-to tape for fixing anything) is now a thing of the passed. This tape is now our new superstar. Worth every penny.

This tape works pretty well for addressing the shortcomings of vapor barrier that's narrower than the room it goes into. It sticks well to plastic barrier, but likes to stick to gloves and scissors more than to the Styrofoam panels I wanted to use in the walls. I don't know whether this tape would last enough longer than duck tape or plastic tape to justify the price difference though.

I recommend seeking a different product with more adhesion before trusting this tape behind a sealed wall.
