But I was looking for some kind of liquid to assist with protein since I don't get great deals of it in my diet, and I also find myself closer to dehydration than I would like to be. This turned out to be a really good purchase for me, though. It does have lemon flavor but not like actual lemonade. It DOES have that thick-a$$-water texture that makes my wife and child gag, but it's fine for me even though I usually have texture issues with liquids, so if you're sensitive to that keep it in mind as a risk if you've never tried this one before. It smells lemony okay -- had several types of beverages for the same reason that do NOT smell good at ALL -- this one is alright -- it doesn't smell bad at least. It is a really good ratio of protein to calories for me, check your diet if that's why you're buying--keep in mind it also helps with consuming more liquids during the day!
