I had heard really great things about modius and wanted to try it for myself. Modius has helped me lose weight steady at a slow pace, and really reduced my cravings so that I don't snack. My portion sizes are smaller than before as well. The SLOW STEADY weight lose is important here for me as I have tried diets before along with my exercising but then I would fall off the wagon and binge eat. This isn't the case anymore. 2 massive things have also happened since I started using it. Firstly I sleep alot better, which I have heard other people report. But more importantly my long term arthritis in my hips from years of road running is gone. I am not to sure if this has anything to do with modius, but surely there is some connection to it. I was in constant pain alot before using the device. Some people say that the device is pricey from the reviews I have read prior to my purchase. But I can just speak for myself. Yes it was alot of money but worth every penny if you factor into how it has changed my life. Lose of weight, tick. Better sleep, tick. No arthritis pain, tick. It defo was worth it. Its defo got alot smaller. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's not a miracle device but it came pretty close for a while. *by S***N on 13 June 2019* Having been an very active teenager and adult I was able to do a good impression of human bin until my late 20s and showed no signs of the volumes I was eating. After a serious knee injury my activities went from 5/6 high impact sessions a week to zero for the next 4 years. My intake didn't change much and the weight just kept creeping up and up. I just wasn't motivated to cut the junk food and wasn't physically able to burn it off through physical exercise. When my modius first arrived it felt like the years had been rolled back - my weight was coming down with minimal effort. I was eating as much as I wanted but I just didn't want as much. I was 13 1/2 stone when I first started using modius, I used it every day and at my lowest I was down to 12 stone. I have since crept back up to 12 1/2 stone and for what I can tell that half stone has been a mix of fat and muscle. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the product - it doesn't stop you eating bad things but it definetly tips the scales more into you favour. Maybe I took my fairly "easy" decrease from 13 1/2 stone to 12 stone too much for granted, maybe I didn't winter that well this year or maybe my diet has deteriorated a bit since my lowest weigh in - whatever the way I'm happy with my journey from where I was to my lowest to now, I feel more in control of my weight than I did at my heaviest point, at that point I probably felt like it was controlling me. I think with a little extra disciplined with my diet and adding a sensible, regular excerise routine that would be high enough impact for weight loss but gentle enough on my knee I have no doubt Modius would be a great addition to the regime to shed the remainder of the "bad" weight that's still there. I think the reason is for this "bad" weight still being around is down to reality of A) I'm not motivated / driven / disciplined enough to do what is required to get there.B) It's not a miracle device - it 110% helps me eat less than I used to but it doesn't select / make my mealsC) The effect of the headset can only go so far. If you're looking for something to aid your weight loss or give you a fighting chance at it rather than guarantee it I would thoroughly recommend giving this product a try. It is probably worth noting that the company have a 90 day money back offer through their website if it doesn't work for you so if you are thinking about giving it a try it may be worth buying it directly. It's also worth saying in this review that I changed from an HTC (Android) to an iPhone (iOS) and while I found the app experience almost identicial the bluetooth connection appeared to be more reliable on the iPhone. The bluetooth never prevented me from getting a session done but did sometimes require me to reopen the app or turn the headset off and on again to first establish a connection. The price point and the need to buy new pads (every 3 months with regular use) may put some people off but if this product works for you you won't look back and you'll see it as money well spent. Unfortunately, the working for you part is the reason for 1 less than full stars. From reading reviews and comments on the Modius Community seems to be a real deal breaker when it comes to this product, and so it should be, it's a weight loss device at the end of the day and will be judged by how effective is at that. I think if you want to give it a go, plan to use it regularly and have realistic expectations of what it can and will do, this product will serve you well and help give you a fighting chance at realistic weight loss.
